If you guys don't know I it could be a collector. Craftsman has made that style of ratchet for 40 years and there are I believe 4 different handle stampings and that one is hard to find and is in good shape. I won't spend that knid of money but I like those ratchets none the less.

that ratchet was made by stanley. I got a repair kit from them through the mail for a 1/2 drive for free. Just found a model number of a 1/2 drive in the stanley version a told them that is what I had and it worked.

does anyone know when the 1/4? rhft was made, was not in the 1970 catalog with others. also when was ?thru post? quick release design used??

I know that the hole would let dirt in but will it work? If someone has a gearwrench they want to give me this is my option right now and I have a solution to the hole if the kit will work, so again will the kit work??

Is the new Matco 88 upgrade that you can change out the gearwrench and armstrong 60's to 88's the same as craftsman thin pro 60's? I know that the c-man is quick relase but will they swap?? I want a high tooth ratchet but don't have the money right now(christmas) to get a new gearwrench or...

when were the 1/4 and flex RHFT made and do they have the patent pending handles?? I have a 1/4 with "Forged in USA, Patent Pending, -v- 43187. Never seen the patent pending with no model number.
