Pliers Set - Wiha or Channellock

I have that same Wiha set and I gotta say, best I've ever used by far. I never realized how nice a good set of wire strippers was and everything is jsut buttery smooth. Highly recommended.

    Shared Neutral

Eventhough I won't have any 240V connections? This will simply be two 120V branches. I fear that if one branch is overloaded then two breakers tied won't properly trip.

    Shared Neutral

I have started this in my own garage but a debate has arisen about the breakers. Mine is 240V single phase 30 amp circuit. I am wiring this as two 20 amps circuits with a share neutral. Should I separate the breakers, one for each circuit, or tie them together as a double pole? I am moving...

    Harbor Freight Breaker Bar

The only problem I've ever had with mine was removing the dumb warning stickers off it. I used it with a jack handle to remove an axle nut that was stuck pretty good. Easily over 400 ft-lbs to break it loose. No problem. I recently got the 3/8" bar for my track toolbox.

$2800.00 bucks for a catalytic converter?

$1200 to replace the O2 sensors?!?!? These guys are just trying to bend you over without the courtesy of using spit. You only need to change the rear sensor to confirm if it is the cat or not and that shouldn't cost much more than $70-80. The front sensor is used to monitor A/F ratio. the...

    Here's my gripe

The great thing about my plain concrete floor is that I can not give a **** about what happens to it.

$2800.00 bucks for a catalytic converter?

Ahh, yes, I completely forgot about that. Any required smog device is covered under that, I think even the O2 sensors. I still think that it's the O2 sensor, though, and not the cat(s)

$2800.00 bucks for a catalytic converter?

It's not just the cat, but they are placed in the midpipes that have to be replaced as well. I find it hard to believe that the cat is the problem though. Most likely the CEL is from the O2 sensor, I'd find out what code it's throwing. Most likely that is your problem, IMO. Also, the post...

    Motorcycle Garages Only

Few more weeks and I should be able to post up some "finished" shots of mine. Have too much stuff to put away and get rid of. Four bike in there now, can't wait.

    Need any vinyl decals?

I'm gonna need to get some vinyl cut for my racebike. Gonna be about a month or so before I'm done prepping and painting the bodywork. I'll have all the illustrator files made up, sized, and ready to go, all you'd have to do is cut. Hoping to get it done for a lot cheaper than Fast Signs...

    Cabinet Review...

I pretty much have to agree with all of your assessments, great writeup. I purchase a trio of the 28" wall cabinets and a floor unit last weekend. All assembled easily and the wall mounting with the rail was so easy it's stupid. Since I knew I needed a bigger cabinet I bought the four foot...

Why are Harbor Freight ratchets so good?

I actually like having those HF ratchets. I have all three sizes in my track toolbox and don't baby them. I've stood on the 1/2" to remove the axle nut on my race bike without a hint of problem. I use them at work and they stand up to being soaked with Skydrol, super nasty stuff. I've...

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

This is a very good stand. There are two problems, however, both have to do with the wheels. First, on a racebike with 190/55's the tire barely clears the ground. Second, the cheapo urethane wheels flattened out on mine after my track bike sat on the stand for a month. I replaced the wheels...

Bondhus - Made in US and excellent prod and service

I recently got a set of Metric T-handles from Bondhus. Excellent set and only $24 with stand. I also liked that the ball ends weren't on the smaller sizes which always were a problem for me in the past. Heck you can use the handles as a weapon on the largest one. Also ordered a couple sets...
