    Wire size for welder

I said to my electrician the plan to use for the outlet, and the 8/3 was is conclusion. I mostly will never need a 50A receptacle (since any welder I'm looking at are 30A anyway, a stove is 40A and a car charger is 40A.) I need to pull ~80ft of wire to get to the front of the garage (pannel...

I built and enclosed my 28x44 in 10 days but we were 2,5 people and I rented a skytrack to lift the wall, trusses, roofing product etc. (one of those is a workoholic and been in construction is whole life) would have taken at least 3 time that time have I been alone. if you hired it out: 1...

Smart lock with door latch guard

Just put the deadbolt where ever you want (Right over the guard would be perfect) There's not real set distance to have them installed unless you put a one piece entry door knob/lock combo. regular bi-metal hole saw will make quick work of drilling the thin sheet metal of the door.

    Tapcon screw problems

1/2" deeper can be enough..but you need to clean the hole. I don't use air to clean the hole: just the drill that I get in and out a couple of time and screw in right after.
