    Can anyone ID this jack?

If it is Japanese will there be markings on it?

    Can anyone ID this jack?

Got it free from the neighbors. Wondering if it’s worth fixing up or not. Anybody know the maker or rough age?

    Anybody buy from mass fabricator?

That’s what I’m thinking! They do sell a few singles and I’m gonna see if there’s any size I might be missing. May not be the greatest wrench but I’ll probably never wear it out. I’m a bit of a tool connoisseur so I would like to try them and see what they’re like.

    Anybody buy from mass fabricator?

I’ve been looking at some of the wrenches offered and wondered if any of you have tried them. https://massfabricator.com/collections/all?page=1 Thanks! Fred

    Proto tool board worth

How much are proto tool boards worth nowadays? I found some with the flying lady logo at the top and would like to make an offer on a few of them, but I feel like they are overpriced. There are probably 8 to 9 boards, all different board numbers, and they’re asking $95 apiece!!!

    Wards Push Mower Restoration

Yeah, I really have no clue! After cutting it out they went and screwed two pieces of metal over the opening... that makes sense! Maybe they decided to use it as a leaf mulcher before deciding to mow lawn with it again?

    Wards Push Mower Restoration

It wasn’t until I started playing around with the tecumseh that I realized it had a cut shaft. Yeah, I should be right in that range once I add the blade adapter to the shaft. Currently at about 7/8 without the adapter.

    Wards Push Mower Restoration

Mocked the new spacer up tonight and I think it’ll be about perfect. It’s a bit difficult to determine exactly where the blade should be located height-wise in the deck. Previously I spent a good bit of time trying to determine where that should be. I measured various mowers, all of which varied...

    Wards Push Mower Restoration

After not having much luck in finding someone to build an affordable engine spacer for me, I started second guessing my engine choice for this project. I considered four.cycle’s engine and some others I had laying around, which led to some interesting looking modern engine reinventions of my...

    Wards Push Mower Restoration

Yeah, did some more digging last night, and while I can’t find one that is exactly like mine, it looks like original engine was probably a 3hp Briggs with the windup crank on top.

Probably some helpful info here, but I’m hard pressed to be able to read all of it.

    Wards Push Mower Restoration

Getting going! It appears that all corners were originally riveted to the deck. Only one was still in that state. The rest were all drilled out a bit larger and bolts of various lengths had been inserted to hold the wheels on. The engine I’m thinking of mounting on it is a 91 Briggs classic...

    Walden Worcester sockets

I bought a box of USA Craftsman the other day from a local guy. I started sorting through everything and was pleasantly surprised when I found these old Walden Worcester sockets!

"Put that heavily weighted tire in the rear!"

If you've worked in automotive any length of time you've probably heard that phrase or something similar. But I've got a question. If you put that tire with a lot of weight in the rear, sure it's gonna ride decent now, but what about a year from now when it gets rotated into the front? (3...

How do you organize screwdrivers and wrenches in tool chest?

These have worked good for me! After having my wrenches piled in a drawer for a few months, I’m once again putting them back in a rack. I also use this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AGWD7VG/?tag=atomicindus08-20 for both wrenches and pliers, they work good!

    AST Funnels

If you buy the kit new, you may have to remove one o-ring off the end of the funnel until it loosens up a bit! The adapters fit on really tight when new!
