Tradesman's years ago were made in Taiwan and public demand and displeasure with this line forced Wilton to bring it home. Now they took that line over seas again raising the prices of used USA models. Wilton JPW is global now and only in it for as much they can increase their profit line...
If that C2 is stamped 78, it must have been put it the very back of the stock. Wilton quit making that vise around 75 when they redesigned them. They stamped the key way as their last step before boxing. It's a beauty

Chicago Morgan Center Bolt
Guys, here's one. I have a Morgan 345 and I broke the swivel. Anyways I'm gonna sell the base, swivel handle and center bolt and the 3 1/2" jaws. The base is marked 135 which didn't surprise me but that center bolt fits perfectly into a 150 I have here...

New Wilton Inner Ring 1011980
Fellas, I got in some new Wilton 1011980's today. Each were individually boxed and banded. To my dismay, they are painted, not in our traditional Wilton Hammered Blue but heavily painted the new Wilton Gray. Also, they changed the design of their handles...
Underneath the crud lies a beauty for sure.Turn the dynamic over and there might be a date stamped toward the front near where the collar goes. Very nice find.
It might say "Schiller Park" but I was told a long time ago by a old Wilton salesman that Wilton's early drill press came out of Germany. If the bolts are standard or metric might be one way to find out.
Footnote, If you have a stationary 205 or 505 and need a swivel base, you know Columbian wants its weight in Gold. A C2 base and inner ring fit perfect. All you will have to buy are 2 7/8" reducers to go to 5/8-11 Case closed
Here another one. If you have a broken collar screw on your bullet, ,when you are drilling it' you don't have to extract it. Remember the threads go all the way thru into the cavity. Once the bit bites it will spin the screw CW into the Dynamic. Another one, I have guys asking for thrust...
