Do I need to test the gas valve "live"? I don't see how air pressure would be any different than propane pressure, right?

Screwing around with a unit from the early 90s. It is a 12v LP 12k btu manual light pilot model. I have not been able to smell or hear any gas flow through the unit at all. The blower fan appears to operate as it should. I confirmed 12v with a meter at the gas valve solenoid at least once...

First time I have seen. Look sweet. If i still worked on many Euros with wheel studs on 1-2 lifts I would buy in a heartbeat. They constantly fell off raising and lowering, super irritating. I am still tempted for home lug nut use.

ATF works just fine in my experience. I used the cheapest AW 32 I could find locally in my own, no issues.

Yes, Chinese 12k 2 post. I used higher grade 3/4" threaded rod and Redhead epoxy in minimum spec'd concrete. Manufacturer and several garage journal members did not bless this method. I have had zero issues with the concrete or anchors.

Yes paint would be fine. I use anti-seize, liberally.

Can confirm the Robinair machines are slow and "****". Have not had any reliability issues with the 2 actual machines I've personally used, if that helps.

I personally prefer a pick, almost never use Jiffy Tite tools, although I own common ones. Corrosion is a common factor in MN. I save, and keep a plethora of spare clips.

I personally love them and use often in the rust belt, chisel mostly.
