Old Hydro Flame RV furnace inoperable - bad gas valve?

Thanks for the replies. All I'm concerned with now is the gas valve operation. It is 12V DC operated. It appears not to open internally at all with voltage applied to it as it would be inside the furnace. I know I can't test burner operation with air, but i should be able to blow through the...

Old Hydro Flame RV furnace inoperable - bad gas valve?

Do I need to test the gas valve "live"? I don't see how air pressure would be any different than propane pressure, right?

Old Hydro Flame RV furnace inoperable - bad gas valve?

Screwing around with a unit from the early 90s. It is a 12v LP 12k btu manual light pilot model. I have not been able to smell or hear any gas flow through the unit at all. The blower fan appears to operate as it should. I confirmed 12v with a meter at the gas valve solenoid at least once...

Enjoy 15% Off: NutUp Magnetic Lug Nut / Lug Bolt Holster

First time I have seen. Look sweet. If i still worked on many Euros with wheel studs on 1-2 lifts I would buy in a heartbeat. They constantly fell off raising and lowering, super irritating. I am still tempted for home lug nut use.

What brand of hydraulic fluid for 4-post lift?

ATF works just fine in my experience. I used the cheapest AW 32 I could find locally in my own, no issues.

    Dedicated lug nut socket set

I've never had a dedicated set that I only use. Mainly a mixed bag of Matco ADV (Sunex), MAC, and Snap-On regular deep impact sockets if room around lug nut. Otherwise, have low-profile Matco flip sockets, they get used a lot, and do crack occasionally. Also have the half-sized set for...

Another 2 post lift epoxy anchor question...

Yes, Chinese 12k 2 post. I used higher grade 3/4" threaded rod and Redhead epoxy in minimum spec'd concrete. Manufacturer and several garage journal members did not bless this method. I have had zero issues with the concrete or anchors.

    R-1234yf A/C Machines. Which one?

Can confirm the Robinair machines are slow and "****". Have not had any reliability issues with the 2 actual machines I've personally used, if that helps.

    Home Depot deals/sales/clearance

Me too. Last min. upgrade from a very dated (very good) Delta non-compound 10" saw. Initially wanted to go cordless but this ended up being a better value that can do more. Thanks Bronco.

    gm engine/transmission cooler line tool

I personally prefer a pick, almost never use Jiffy Tite tools, although I own common ones. Corrosion is a common factor in MN. I save, and keep a plethora of spare clips.
