    flood lighting question

thank you for the reply. i've seen plenty of wireless switches but it seems like they are more for small lamps and LED strips. i cant seem to find one that has a receiver that can handle the amperage of multiple lights. if i can find a wireless switch, it would have a receiver then power would...

funny you mantion AL wiring. he was also having issues with tripping the A/C breaker. found out they replaced the breaker for some reason (old one was at the bottom of the panel and seemed fine) and the lugs were loose. also noticed they use AL for the condenser while everything else in the...

Why would a fridge require a non GFI circuit?

"cheap" is the conclusion we came up with after seeing a few other things throughout the house but you are right, this is a tract house and is to be expected. would have made more sense to spend the $10 to add 1 extra GFI in the garage and tie it into the bath that shares a wall and leave the...

wish i saw this post about 3 months ago. my brother in law put a new fridge in the garage of his new houses as a temp while remodeling was going on. the next day we find that its off. went through all sorts of troubleshooting and wire tracing to find out why this could be. there was no GFCI in...

    Garage Lift Emergency

this used to happen often at a shop i worked at. an air leak would cause the locks on one side not to disengage. we would bring it back up to level then hold the locks open with pry bars and ride it down. good times haha

    Aluminum connectors on garden hose?

they are nice and lite but i prefer steel. just dont tighten it with your whole body weight or drag it across your driveway and you should be fine. i have one with these fittings and i dont expect it to last forever but i also dont abuse it.
