    Model KDE6700T Diesel Generator. no compression

    Was gifted this generator . it turns over but no compression. I'm thinking the exhaust valve is stuck open. it's been sitting at least 10 yrs and maybe longer . there's pulse & suction at the exhaust is why Im thinking a stuck valve .     Will a 220 volt 50 cycle printer work on N/A 240 volt 60 cycle

    some years ago I bought a brand new laser printer/scanner/copier at a clearance joint. I discovered it's made for British market . It starts to print then shuts down . probably because of low voltage . How would it respond to wiring it to a 240 circuit?

    Auto Darken Welding helmet, Missing battery.

    lets suppose you have a small ( 6 gallon) water heater, 1500 watt @ 120v. on the manufacturers label it can have either a 120 v or a 240 volt heater installed, The only benefit to 240 would be faster recovery time, correct?
