    4 post lift runway weight

I strongly recommend borrowing an engine hoist. 2 guys is not enough for the cylinder runway. Be safe

    Best wall track system?

I second the fast-track rail (they also have a fast-track wall which is totally different, more like slat wall). The accessories are a little pricier than I would like but they are all well built, buy once. Less surface area to accumulate dust and debris compared to a slat wall. I have the wall...

    4 Post Lift Designs

The downside to the fully boxed in setup is that your lock positions are absolute and fixed relative to the floor. If you have a sloped floor, your lift will be sloped at rest. The ladder-style lets you compensate for that

Keeping track of equipment maintenance, a better way?

I use Google Sheets, that way I can access and update from my computer or phone, share with someone if I want, and it's always backed up to the cloud. Google Sheets also has pretty good version control, you can look at previous versions of a sheet and see what was changed (if you think something...

    Shop internet

You say landline but need to be more specific about what it is. Cable coax, phone line, or is it 8-conductor ethernet?

How the heck can I lose two caulk guns?

It's a well-observed phenomenon that caulk guns will sublimate from a solid to a gas state, like dry ice

Can one guy get a 4 post lift home and build it solo with only basic garage tools? My journey....

Mine were not all the same length on top of the adjusting nut, nor did I expect them to be. If you are bottoming out the adjustment, you could try adding washers on top to shim the cable higher.

https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/205142890-airMAX-How-to-Configure-a-Point-to-Point-Link-Layer-2-Transparent-Bridge- Looks to me like you have it right. Your router in the shop should be set for AP mode as you said. Additional helpful articles here...

Point to Point Wireless for Shop

I'm not sure I understand the Station term, as Unifi uses the term Wireless Uplink for an AP connecting upstream wirelessly. Here is Unifi's guide on wireless uplink config: https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002262328-UniFi-UAP-Configuring-Wireless-Uplink I don't think you need the...

    Four Post Lifts

If you pull your MG all the way forward, the door may not interfere with the roof height at all and just needs to clear the trunk.

    Expanding wifi Internet

Agreed! Although if I can figure the controller out, OP with his IT background should be fine. What I love about Ubiquiti is the stability. My inlaws have an AP running standalone and I never get called about it. You can do multiple SSID for 5 and 2.4, but agreed the setup is limited. My home...

    Expanding wifi Internet

Well, he could set them up without a controller (standalone) and configure them and update their firmware directly from the phone app. You don't need the controller running 24/7 unless you're running a guest portal or something. In the absence of an active controller, they will continue to run...

    Expanding wifi Internet

I would use a couple UAP-AC-Lites (maybe 1 per building), turn the power down as low as you need to avoid them shouting over each other. Turn off auto channels and auto signal strength. Stagger your channels between adjacent APs. While it's tempting to use a single powerful AP like a UAP-AC-LR...

Bendpak lift leaking at pump. What to fix?

Is it just me or does it look like the top flange of the tank is cracked? Although your leak appears to be coming from higher than that anyway.

How do I move my lift

If you strap the crossmember to the posts, you can lift in the center of the crossmember with a floor jack or engine hoist.
