THE WALKER-TURNER THREAD - Post your Walker-Turner pics

That's a pretty pronounced arc of shame. I've seen JBWeld used on those and is helpful in maintaining a flat surface, if you have access to a welder that is the best route. Drop some dimes in that arc then machine flat -if you keep it. JBWeld at most, if at all, if you plan to sell it.

@shoot summ very interesting find. I looked through a few 1960s era catalogs and couldn't find that table. Could be a custom conversion?

@1930artdeco that is absolutely a 1950s Craftsman pedestal. Possibly for a table saw.

@DDOPWD23 my only concern is the condition of your handle gear. Note how far out it protrudes versus what it should look like. Handle bushing should be very close to the cover.

@DDOPWD23 of the differing lifts out there, in my opinion what you have is definitely the most uncommon. The original Craftsman Royal blue and without a patent badge. Just as head scratching as it was that patent badges were put on either side of the gearbox collar, so too was the fact that...

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

I recently showed a badge of Delta off-shoot "TAUCO", which was simply the Delta founders last name Tautz combined with Company. In 1945 Delta bought Crescent machine and for a very short time produced a few badges which combined the Delta name with crescent. These are very uncommon. Here it...

@jd5000 everyone has their own unique experience and opinions with differing machines, having said that I've had both a vari-slo and an MSA on my 100. I found the VS to be a very finicky accessory whereas the MSA has functioned perfectly and with no surprises. Changing belt speeds on an MSA...

@shoot summ those badges are awesome! Tilty's look so cool, especially with the uncommon CI base. I've only seen @pmcgowan and @5Prosjeff post CI base mounted tilty's, and Jeff's has the crazy rare CI pulley guard.

South Bend drill press "Precision Model" (added another drill press December 2024)

It was mounted upside down by the previous owner. Those pictures were taken after I removed it from my vehicle. I've seen all manner of ridiculousness from previous owners on 60-90 year old machines. Great attention to detail, great eye.

The red Delta badge with three stripes on your upper wheel cover denotes 1939- mid 1941. By 1941 Delta switched to the iconic "Delta Milwaukee" badge.

@Ren Hoek great pickup. That's a 1939-mid 41 model 890 -and nice to have the attached retirement light. Does it still have pressed steel wheels?
