you need a 240 generator or a protrans type panel where you put your 120v loads you want to switch over to on, is the way to go with those 120v gens ...just easier but so are drop cords.

Yeah rod & bag (they’re disposable). There’a a cloth or felt or something ring inside the bottom that holds the bag on it may be there...the bag just wraps around it and it kinda snaps into place but you don’t see it from the outside.
