    US General Series 3

It looks nice and the hutch option is a nice touch. Inflation is ridiculous though. Even with a coupon it's going to be very expensive for a Chinese box only 22" deep.

Tekton flare crow foot just released...

Me too and a 22mm. You see a lot of rust, so they should be very useful.

    Mini Torx screwdriver set recommendation?

I have that set in the PicoSoft handle version. I like them very much. Wiha has been my go to for precision drivers.

New Matco Double-Box Flex Ratcheting Wrenches - Kabo?

All this 'innovation' and that simple solution from old isn't pursued. Instead of saving the ratchet mechanism by breaking torque with something else they just keep adding teeth and making it easier to replace.

    Tekton flare Nut Crowfeet

Hopefully Torque Test Channel will test them. They are about the same in price as Snap-on so they need to perform very well.

    1/2" impact socket pictures

Like my 3/8" picture, here compares the relative lengths of 1/2" drive impact sockets. From left to right Astro Nano, Tekton standard, Genius semi-deep (thin-wall), Tekton deep. I like that the Genius is fully stepped. The 10-24mm set (no skips) is reasonably priced and might be the best value...

Pentalobe Drive: Sizes Not Standardized Across Brands!

Tamper resistant torx plus is a pentalobular design. The larger sizes have a hole in the middle. It seems that sizes below 8 do not which makes sense. I think IPR and pentalobe refer to the same thing. I love tools but this fastener drive design standards war is out of control. Is it possible...

    1/2in Sockets

The Williams shallow chrome set can be had for about $100. Deeps are more expensive so you could buy them individually or start with a lug nut socket set if you don't already have one. If you have an impact then I would suggest one of the Tekton sets. They have a good set of features. Sunex or...

    Lubricate Impact Swivel Sockets?

It would be an interesting experiment. I am going to try just a little tool box buddy light machine oil on my Astro swivels. It can't hurt and it just might help.

    Electronics repair toolkits

I have their old everybit kit and would agree. They are just a little soft. I replaced the Phillips bits with Snap-on back when they had free shipping. I just ordered their new kit with the longer bits. I'll post a review after I get a chance to use it. I have always liked their trilobulor...

Grey Pneumatic vs. Sunex Semi-Deep Impact Sockets

I like that the GP are fully stepped in the smaller sizes. I don't think the Sunex are.

    Impact socket coating durability

Manganese phosphate I keep mine in the garage and they are not rusted.

Yeah, it took all weekend to find them!

    3/8" impact socket pictures

My Milwaukee M12 3/8" stubby impact has become my favorite tool now that I own a HO 5.0 battery. The difference is night and day. I have the Tekton set as well as Astro Nano and Grey Semi-deep. That combination works very well.

    US General Series 3

Perhaps. Did we do the same thing with VIM and Tekton? How much is inflation in production cost and how much is hype? That said I'd rather have a Canadian produced Tekton box than Asian if the price point is similar.

    ICON 3/8 Semi-deep chrome

I wish Tekton would make semi-deep. They are more expensive than the other Taiwan brands but have better features. Still way less expensive than truck brands.

Mowing your own yard and do you use gas or electric lawn equipment?

You can probably give the mower your grandpa gave you to your grandkids. I doubt that a new production homeowner grade mower would last a generation. The professional ones? Maybe. I wish they didn't use so much plastic on the electric ones too and I feel the same way about my truck. The...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

The M18 high output 6.0 seems to be the best price/performance wise at the moment. It's a noticeable step up on Fuel impacts and drills. The M12 high output 5.0 does the same for M12 impacts and drivers.

    Right angle drills

This is the issue. If you are reaching for a right angle drill to deal with a broken bolt somewhere where your normal drill is going to be too big, you need super small with reasonable power. Milwaukee is decent but CP (like Sean has) or the AP I have are simply significantly smaller, more...
