Driveway, front walkways and landscaping are done, just in time for the first snow in 3+ years. We will be adding additional plants once we see how everything fills in. Even had a local supervisor check things out this AM from his perch on the mailbox. Our neighborhood supervisor

New Years Day, no work done, but I did get a better shot of the driveway demo. Looking forward to how much more they can accomplish tomorrow and possibly into Friday. Looking at weather for Monday, I'm doubting they will pour that day, but hey, you never know.

As we wind down 2024, the landscaper was in today and got a jump start on tearing out the old walkways and about 75% of the driveway. Plans are in place, weather permitting, to finish demolition, shaping, and grading, with a potential plan to pour new concrete next Monday and/or Tuesday. A full...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT "Boxster Bay" Garage (24' x 30')

Don't even think about it, just do it, it will add value to the car, and make you lose less sleep than if you don't. Ask your friends, ask on the PCA owners forum, ask on Renlist, ASK.............Then of course, bite the bullet and just do it. Bill S. PS: I'm searching for an air cooled 83/84...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT "Boxster Bay" Garage (24' x 30')

Just sold my ex track prepped 2001 Boxster "S", but kept the other 5 (6) convertibles, including my 2.5L Ford Duratec powered 06 Miata GT (6spd).....Watch the coolant tanks, if they crack, you can blow your head gasket in a minute or two, long before you'll notice the temp rising, and hopefully...

A little pooling to the right front of the shed area, otherwise, I did not see any other issues. Still working on the pronounced swale on the side of the house and driveway, not certain whether we like it as it sits or not. Will be discussing with the landscaper next week, or the week after as...

Well, with 2" or more of rain projected tonight and tomorrow we will see how the new grading works out. Was late yesterday when the landscapers crew finished the seeding and haying of the backyard and small sideyard next to the garage. They used the headlights from their skidsteer to work after...

Looks like you are well on your way to a perfectly good rehab. Next you'll be adding on to the side of the house, I figure 30X40 or 30X50 will do, although from my own experience, I'd now go for a 40 wide structure to start. Where in North Georgia are you located? Bill S.

    Cost for rewiring.......

That is pretty much it, my sound advice, ask your friends who they have used that they are happy with and call them ASAP (not one that advertises on TV). Have them come out and physically look at the panel and your wiring. Do not lead them on, let them make a determination as to what is...

    Cost for rewiring.......

What is the size of the current box? Where is it mounted? What is it mounted too? Are you planning to add circuits? How is the current box wired ? Do you have aluminum or other outdated wiring? Will you be adding a whole house surge protector at the same time? Each answer will cause your price...
