Need suggestions for transmission floor jacks

I bought one of these years ago. Used it a few times, did the job but had to lift the trans off it/onto it under the car because we couldn't get the car high enough to roll the loaded jack under the car. Once it was situated in position to install the trans it worked alright. I wouldn't...

Advice on removing sheared off bolt from intake manifold

Can you thread a nut onto it? If so, try double nutting it. Run one nut all the way down then run another nut down to it then using two wrenches lock the two nuts together then use wrench on the bottom nut to turn out the stud.

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Beautiful dog, brought a laugh and good memories to me this morning. Reminds me of an all black shepherd we had, called him Cooper. Didn't look anything like your dog other than the cocked head, tennis ball in mouth, come play with me look in the eyes. Thanks.

My wife is taking a break so I need a nut splitter.

You don't have to heat the nuts that much, just slightly redden one flat and have the socket on the impact within close reach and blast it off as soon as you kill the torch. Rust is a ***** here, there's been very few I've had to heat twice.

Anyone Seen One Of These Saws Before?

I hadn't until today. Spied it sticking out of a bucket on the scrap truck and fished it out, gave him 5 bucks for it. The blade can be attached in three different orientations, on either side and on top. Tried to get a good picture of the printing on the handle but they came out blurry for...

Are these Mastercraft wrenches any good?

I've used those wrenches as well as their sockets and ratchets at home and professionally for years. They are fine for both, the price and warranty can't be beat IMO.
