    Jack on Craiglist ID

Yep, looks exactly like my Michelin that I've had nearly as long. I think I paid right around 100 bucks for it on sale at Canadian Tire.

    Belt-Driven Hydraulic Pump

I've used power steering pumps to lift snowplows on Jeep CJ's. Pretty sure they, or an actual snowplow pump, won't be the answer for a loader though.

Is it dangerous to throw a chain around a beam to be used to attach a chain hoist?

Just be careful when you throw the chain over, the thrown end wrapping around the beam coming back into your face might be exciting. ;)

Best lubricant for sway bar bushings?

A lot of the old junkers my friends and I drove in the '70's, mostly '60's Fords, had squeacky control arm bushings and upper ball joints. An old mechanic told us to soak them with brake fluid until it stopped. Two or three applications and those old Fords were as quiet as a new one.

Show us your Vintage Automobile Paraphernalia

I remember my grandfather having one like that or very similar. I don't recall the brand name for sure on it but MESSCO sure sounds familiar. He had the pouch too. I don't have any idea what became of it though.

    In ground lift identification

A shop I used to work at has two in ground lifts and are still in use. They are Ford-Smith lifts and look very similar to the OP's but the flip up legs/stands are slightly different.
