    I got my hose from https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/c-1645-kleen-rite-vacuum-hoses.aspx very good quality, just as good as the Ridgid one but much cheaper and the best part is that you can get it in longer lengths. Super tough and will not collapse or kink.

    you can get panel meters to monitor the voltage/amps. They are super cheap and small so easy to rig up. It'll look a whole lot better then a couple of meters hanging off to the side.

    I cut PVC on my miter saw using a high tooth count laminate blade 12"-96 tooth. came out clean. Be aware that it makes an incredible amount of shavings that static cling to absolutely everything. It was such a pain to clean up.
