Thanks.$1500-1800 would be fair for top and bottom then you think?

I found an older Mac tool box for sale locally. It's a mb1300. It's pretty dirty and the lowest narrow drawer is dented but other then that it's pretty sound. Anyone have thoughts on its? Any idea on a fair price? I don't know how they compare to Snap On prices...The top is an older Matco.

It probably will not get alot of use, at least in the short term. It's not in a shop currently so it sits idle most of time.

I'm adding a butcher block to the top of my KRL. Could of bought the Snap On version but decided to try it out my self. Purchased the block from Lowes and cut it down to fit, routed the edges and added a few coats of stain. Should look nice when I finally get it installed.

Thanks for the comments and help. I do really like the combo. I tried to get some up close pictures of the trim. I did find some rattle can paint that is suppose to be anodized blue. Thinking about buying a can and seeing how close it is.

Got it replaced today. I do have an account with him, but he doesn't come by my shop so I have to drive 5 miles to meet him.That's why I was going to send it with my friend to his shop.

Yes it is a stamping defect. It wouldn't bother me, but if I didn't have it on the magnetic tray or rail with other sockets, you wouldn't know what size it is. The size stamping is hardly able to be made out.

Bought a nearly new set of snap on 3/8 shallow sae sockets today off craigslist. The 13/16 socket has a manufacturing defect. I couldn't get the picture to show it good but the name and size stamp, as well as the part number were etched almost towards the square end of the socket, and the lower...

Might try the new Napa Carlyle locking flex ratchets. I haven't seen them yet, or heard any reviews on here but I don't know of many locking flex ratchets that are sold in stores. I'd probably buy the Armstrong Maxx flex ratchets, since they now are 88T.

Great...but how long will it take to weed out the old stock maxx flex ratchets with the 60T mechanism?

Received this in an email this morning. It looks as though Napa is trying to step things up even more. I found it odd that they used a different head and tooth count than their other ratchets though.

Don't care for the detents on my MAC flexhead ratchets. I have the non locking Snap On ratchets. I have the screw tightened up so they don't move much. I also have Matco locking flexheads ratchets. I prefer the locking Matco ratchets the most,Snap On second, and detent versions last
