Looking for a Craftsman jointer blade setting gauge part number 9-2647. Don’t need the instructions but if the gauge is in good shape with all the parts and set screws I’ll take it! Tool is from the 70’s.

Yikes! 1) get it up on jack stands, you'll have more room for leverage 2) at this point you'll need some Irwin bolt removers, if you're not a mechanic I'd HIGHLY recommend taking it in. At this point if you can't get it out with the bolt removers, drilling and tapping are next. At that point...

Definitely an EPIQ, but I'd check the tag serial number with Snap On to make sure it's not stolen or still has $ owed on it. Model number should tell you something too. Theres a white "Do not remove" tag with all the info on it

I've also purchased a bunch of stuff through the SEP program. Received a bent 11/32 wrench once as well as crowfeet that were pitted! They took the crowfeet back but let me keep the bent wrench.

That's kinda cool actually! Reminds me of a story my dad told me when he was at a Chevy dealership a long time ago. Long row of work vans badged Chevy on the back except one GM in the middle. He went around to the front of that one and it was badged Chevy on the front and GM in the back.

Drilling stainless isn't going to be fun. I may be able to make something on the lathe if you can't find any. How many do you need?

What are they for exactly? If McMaster doesn't have them, an aircraft supply store might but it's unlikely. Why are aluminum bolts necessary? Can you use an alternative?

Gosh, extension lengths are many for a reason. It's hard to pin down a general size you would use the most. It depends on what you're using them on. With aviation I find myself using 2" and 4" wobbles more than anything. What you may get more use out of are universal and swivel sockets...

Ive found knowing how to phrase a search on google is half the battle. Have to understand how to ask the question that will yield the results you want.

As others have said, Snap on makes 30-60 angle wrenches. I'm a full time aircraft mechanic and use them all the time. Aircraft are notorious for tight spaces and awkward working areas, these wrenches are a must for me. They're a life saver but I don't know how often I'd need them on cars.

As an A&P myself I recommend: 1) A ~50-60" long rollaway with NO top chest. Often times you'll need to maneuver your box around and underneath airplanes. Plus you'll use your box as a workbench more often than you think. 2) Get what you can afford and fill it with top of the line tools. Snap...
