    Modern Alarm system upgrade?

I've been studying this for a while now. There's a big rabbit hole for you to go into; you can go as deep as you dare. Here's a ok article responding to your question: https://reolink.com/use-upgrade-existing-home-security-alarm-system/ I have had a wireless system currently at a commercial...

    Swisstrax color

Careful, in my experience dark colors typically show more dirt, faster than light gray. Think of a black car vs. a light gray car.

Source for True Metric Sized Hydraulic Hoses + Exhaust Tubing

Hi guys. I'm searching for metric sized exhaust tubing and hydraulic hoses. I am looking for true metric sizes, not standard US converted to metric (i.e. hoses that are 50.8 mm instead of 50 mm). I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find what I need. The hydraulic hoses would need to be...

QuickJack - for those of you wondering

If they have it at your local Costco, that would likely be the case. The description says; "Item may be available in your local warehouse for a lower, non-delivered price." I'll be checking in town tomorrow!

    Outdoor Concrete

The outdoor concrete driveway and patio at my house were poured around 2012 and are in excellent shape. All of the concrete is very light in color (I believe it is referred to as "San Diego" mix), and unfortunately the driveway shows tire marks from cars going in and out of the garage or just...

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT The Garage at The Place in The Valley (Garage Condo 45x23x20)

No worries. That clearance height should be just enough to stuff a lift in there if you don't park any really tall cars. I was thinking of getting one of these. https://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/parking-lifts/pl-6kdt/ It's made by Benpak. Allows you to lift two cars independently so you...

    Norsk Metallic Graphite Edge Trim

Just installed some Norsk PVC tile in metallic graphite, and in putting the edge trim came up short by 2 straight edge trim pieces. Norsk doesn't appear to sell individual pieces, they only sell the trim as a kit with multiple pieces. Was wondering if anyone has two straight edge pieces that...

    Vented Rubber Tiles

Would have thought that a rubber tile would be stable and not leach. I assume the Vinyl product you linked would not leach or stain? Can it support the weight of a stairmaster? Web site doesn't seem to indicate load bearing capacity of the tiles.

    Vented Rubber Tiles

I am searching for vented rubber tiles, similar to the Swisstrax Rubbertrax product. Called them yesterday, had a good and informative conversation, and they promised an email to select colors for samples which they would send right away. Alas, the email didn't come :headscrat, so am exploring...

    help finding epoxy anchors

I agree with you that many (but not all) of the creative methods used to anchor equipment that I've read about extensively here seem to come about mostly as a result of poorly executed holes due to poor drilling method/equipment. I recently spoke to one of the engineers at Wej-it about their...

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT The Garage at The Place in The Valley (Garage Condo 45x23x20)

FYI, the outlets you replaced are GFI outlets, required by code for outlets near water source like a sink. I don't see a sink immediately near them in the picture, but you've replaced the outlets with non-GFI outlets. Might want to be sure that you aren't creating a safety issue for yourself...

ESCO jack stands - keep or return

Hmmm, I'll have to check mine. I agree that for the price they should be close to perfect. That said, there's enough slop built into the bottom piece (on purpose) that I doubt there's any issue with its function.
