I got these 2 months ago. They semm to work god so far...i haven't used 'em much but the little i did use them the tap worked good!

Smoke detectors, sprinklers, etc., only work after a fire started. Don't be the guy who grinds, blowing sparks all over the oil soaked rags, under the wooden bench, into electric motor housings ( they are little metal particles after all ). YOU are the best way to not have a fire!!

3 phase is no big deal. You can get a static phase converter for under $100...but you only get 2/3 hp from motor. Or a rotory drive which gives full HP but run around $3-500. OR you could get a veriable frequency drive ( again 2/3 hp) but will have the ability to slow spindle speeds without...

Yeah the ability for that vise to open up a full 12 inches is great! :) Im going to be building a new bench soon so a vise refurbish will be on the list of things to do.

The mill is the cheap part.....just wait until you start buying all the tooling:) Looks like a nice unit but stick to your inspection process and I'm sure you'll walk away happy.

The the square making machine is my newest "big" acquired item, I got the little lathe last summer and have only played a little on it as I got the mill shortly after and who can ignore the big shiny mil:)
