Are you evicting the renters just as the temperature starts to drop? How heartless. How cruel. Say it isn't so.

    The Bully garage in Lithuania

Apparently none of your cars leak oil. A wooden floor would never work in my shop. Everything I build in my shop; engines, transmissions, etc leak.

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT The Garage at The Place in The Valley (Garage Condo 45x23x20)

I was up in your area over the weekend. Had a full plate yesterday and did not think you would be around today. I ran I-64 from I-70 to I-270 so dropping by would have been a snap. Trip came up unexpectedly. Would like to see your place if the opportunity presents itself again.

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Rusty Wrench Repair - Our new garage

Enjoying your ICF build. Not something we see very often on the Garage Journal. Can you offer up a couple of photos here and there showing how you fit and secure the windows and doors and how you run your electric cables in the walls? Inquiring minds want to know.

Another vote for Flickr. Been using it for at least 15 years with no complaints. Free, easy and fast.

Pole shed roof, too much weight for insulation and metal panels?

You can turn the bottom chord (joist) of a truss into a box beam with OSB and some 2x4 lumber. Then you can run nailers between the trusses to carry the sheet metal. I would use 2x4 standing up with a 1x4 flat for the nailing surface.

    Time to build a new 40 x 60

I built my 30' x 40' using a kit from Adams Truss. I contracted the concrete and did the rest myself. Took me about three months working intermittently. As with any project of this magnitude burnout is a real possibility. The best way to avoid that is using professionals for the most labor...

Greenville Build: When you can't go out, to up

Sounds like an interesting project. I use Flickr as my photo host. It is free and has an easy uploading program. Individual saved photos are easy to link to Forum posts.

    The Dog House

Best place to ask that question is the Garage Journal's Lighting & Electrical Forum. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=30 That place is populated by a bunch of nit picking sparkies that delight in showing off their knowledge of the National Electric Code. Since you need...

200 amp sub panel in detached garage

I have 70 amps in my shop. I keep thinking it is not enough and planned to upgrade when I added a 3.5 ton heat pump. My A/C guy said don't bother unless the lights momentarily dim when the unit powers up. Has not happened yet.

    New house

I suspect a lot of tandem garages are turned into workshops, gyms, billiards spaces, and, heaven forbid, junk storage. What this proves is real men need a space of their own. A place where they can beat their chests while howling like coyote. Thankfully we have the Garage Journal to show us...

How rare is it to find these "Made in USA" Craftsman, for sale, NEW?

Our Sears and KMart both closed within a month of each other. Our local ACE does not have any USA made that I can find. Funny how their glue on stickers always seem to cover the spot on the box end wrenches where the made in USA stamp was located. If the Chinese can build the bomb and put up...

Drill bits to drill out stainless fasteners

Cobalt, cutting oil, very slow speed, steady pressure. If you can set the job up in a drill press or a mill (slower speed) that is the way to do it. Do you hear an echo?

Any chance your excavators can haul those rocks off for you. They usually have a place to take stuff like that. There is nothing more useless and ever in the way as a pile of big rocks.
