    Tool Roll - Reccomendations?

I have been looking for a tool roll for a vehicle based tool kit;it will hold my combination wrenches, 2 ratchets, pliers, screwdrivers, things like that. I am sure I will need more than one, and I'm fine with that. The problem I am having is that there are a bunch of options out there and I...

Harbor Freight 6 free tools coupons no purchase necessary in store only

This is an awesome deal. Even if the screwdrivers and tape measure are cheap, I figure it's a great starter kit for my son (he's 6, I don't think he's going to be breaking any screwdrivers anytime soon!). Plus the tarp, tray and light will be handy regardless. Thanks for posting!

    Hello from St Louis

Wow that's beautiful. The 4Runner uses the Tacoma bar. I'm still deciding if it will be ARB or shrockworks though. I think either way you have to cut off about 2" of the frame where the original bumper mounted. DK87 I will definitely take you up on that!

    Reccomend a floor jack?

The issue with buying a proper jack right now is funds. I have to do this on the cheap, and get something that will last me the next two years. I will get a good one after that. If I buy something off craigslist, unless it was from someone that rebuilds them, it seems like I'd be rolling the...

    Reccomend a floor jack?

Paulsomlo, I did see that the height/base ratio was for the stands, I guess I just wasn't clear in saying that. Thanks for making sure I knew though. Also, I looked on craigslist, and saw that particular ad; the problem was that almost all the floor jacks were 2.5 ton, and I'm looking for a 3...

    Reccomend a floor jack?

Well, I like buying US made products, and from the look of it I will be getting a Hein Werner next. But in the mean time, with what I can afford, I will be hitting up HF. As far as jack stands are concerned, you can get good ones pretty cheap, right? At least compared to a floor jack? How good...

    Reccomend a floor jack?

I suppose I can try rebuilding one, but I have never tried that and would be starting from square 1. Depending on the difficulty/skill level, I might not want to trust my safety to it. The height to base info is new to me - thanks for posting that, or I wouldn't have even known to think of it...

    Reccomend a floor jack?

Hi everyone, I know this topic has been covered in many ways, shapes and forms, but I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, info-wise, or the threads were pretty old. So, I'm here because I know next to nothing about tools and such, and have found that the best way to learn a subject is...

    My Gunsmithing / Woodworking Table...

TGS. You can find them here: http://shop.secureittactical.com/collections/home-products/products/tgs-1824-sportsman They look really solid. A friend of mine had something a lot like this, possibly the same one. It was a very secure system. By the way, I don't work for them, not affiliated in...

    Hello from St Louis

I might have seen your rig before. Have you checked out MO4WD? It's a pretty good forum with a lot of local StL guys. Mine is an '02 4Runner with OME front/rear, TRD Supercharger and 265/75's. Nothing else added yet but looking forward to it in the next year. Where did you get the ARB bar...

    Hello from St Louis

Highlux I dig that name. Too bad they aren't sold here, right? I might take you up on that offer at some point... right now just doing simple things, like a Satoshi Grille mod, CB install, Taco whip antenna mod, but will eventually be putting on a CBI rear bumper and then a front bull bar...

    Hello from St Louis

Stanimal where are you now? Thanks everyone. I'm also trying to build a tool set and skill sets relevant to the vehicles in my family - 02 4Runner and 07 Jeep. Mostly oil changes, brakes, fuses, other fluids, and eventually trail repairs for the 4Runner should something break while it's...

    Hello from St Louis

Hi everyone. I'm checking in from St. Louis. I like checking out forums to see what the experts have to say. I'm here to learn, mostly about basic DIY things, like how to and tools I'll need, so I won't likely chime in a whole lot. Looking forward to learning.
