I have two direct lift 4 posts and neither are bolted down. It was really nice when I needed to move the lifts to rearrange the garage.i was able to move two lifts by myself in 30 min.

I really like this idea- I have a HF cart for standard tools and a HF cart for metric tools. I can easily roll the cart to whichever car I am working on. The carts are only 'A item' tools- things you use constantly. I have a Craftsman chest full of the tools that are only used occasionally

Lots of outlets, 220 for a lift if going with a 2 post. I really should have included a sink to clean up. It's easier now it's all the wipes with degreaser but I still wish I had a place to clean up before going inside.

What s going in the addition? If its just lawn equip then no big deal but if its cars or machinery I would get a contractors opinion. When we did our addition I made sure they knew I was planning on putting cars and lifts on the concrete.

I just had two direct lifts installed. Haven't used them much but quality seems very high for home use. About the same price and I think it has the certs. Maybe call a local installer? The guy that put mid in had good/bad things to saw about all of them.
