    Thanks 1320stang, it was added after the shop was built originally and Your absolutely wright about water not being able to move off it, rolled shingles should have been installed, oh well, so I'll cut 1/2" longer to leave an overhang, fascia/soffit then gutters, sounds like a plan.........peace.
