get a good electric shear, Milwaukee is pretty much the standard and a compact nibbler makes a huge difference rather than using a rotary tool. Depending on what you will be working on the flanging tools can fill up a tool box pretty quick.

I used the HF one with a 8 foot long cheater pipe after bending the snap on and breaking the matco on the first bolt last year when I had to drop a D8 dozer belly pan in the middle of winter. if anyone would have broken it I certainly would have done it that day.

which unit do you have? I am assuming it is a RF transmitter? you could do a simple antenna hack to get better reception by running a lead from the old antenna to the outside of the bldg.

I hear ya, but I refuse to read, watch or listen to any news of any sort and don't care for commercials plus I don't watch TV. well worth the price for me to have it in the trucks, house and shop.

I almost get in a zen like state when sharpening anything but any rotating blade needs to be balanced very tightly. thus I tend to use a 12 inch mill ******* file and geek out.

I use a large ultra sonic machine and simple green with boiling hot water. never had to run anything for more than 8 hours.

I would love to go this route but I think with all the welding, grinding, plasma cutting, body work, painting and frame up resto work I do I doubt it would hold up through my first project. anyone have these tiles and inflict the same amount of use as I do?
