Finally caught up again so I have to say, congrats on the retirement Thomas. Now you've got more than enough time to catch up on the things that you've been putting off. I'm going to send a link to a friend that I just met and I think Ray will be joining up.

You're a pilot Thomas. Surely you could pick Joe up at his front door and kidnap him so he could go through the tool shed.:lol_hitti Thought about the homemade part on the press a little more and I think it may have been used for installing bearings more than removing them. The press isn't that...

It could be used as a base for removing bearings Thomas but I think it had another purpose. And now that you said tool shed Joe will be jumping in waiting for more.:willy_nil

That sewing machine isn't quite as old as you think Thomas. Took a while to find anything about them but the Free brand was created after 1910. Looks like it was made sometime around WWI period but the company stayed around until the late 50's. What I did find interesting is that there's a...

The 01 would've done well pulling. Once they went to the 4L60E and made some better internals the trannys really worked better. In the 80's and up to mid 90's the internals were the biggest issue but once they got the shifting and internal issues worked out they do fine. With the 2004R and the...

Yes and no Beck. The newer trannys hold up better because of different designs. The first versions were built for mileage and the newer ones are built to hold up towing in OD now.:)

Maybe she just plans to test you first Thomas.:lol_hitti A trial test for the man that started it all would be fitting I think. No open books though.

As large as that press is you could make some dies for punching holes in sheet metal Kev. That's a really nice size for a lot of things.

Well I've got something that will look familiar Thomas. We got lucky enough to borrow a dozer and have been cleaning the old place up.:D So far we've got 5 piles of wood made out of oak, elm, mesquite, and cedar. If anyone in the DFW or Waco area need firewood send me a note. It's still drying...

Kinda Thomas. If over cooked they are like a stringy dry chicken, but if cooked right they're better than chicken and very low fat. Lop eared rabbits Swanny. It's a large Belgium breed if I remember right.;) They can get quite large compared to other rabbits.

Hey now, we've got goats here, and while there are a few special ones that will never be sold or slaughtered, the rest we can barbecue at any time. Besides, a properly fried rabbit is really tasty. I'll see if I can take a few pics of the brats that we've raised. One is a pygmy...
