    Quincy Compressor

Oh, I know that it wasn't an apples to oranges comparison; that wasn't my point. My point was that even the Northern Tool example, which is significantly lacking in quality compared to the one he showed, is still $900. I could have searched harder for something which would be a more accurate...

DUDE. $75. SERIOUSLY!!! Just buy it and figure it out later. Holy ****. Run. Now. Here is a comparable, although obviously new example. It's $900.

Garage Essentials for a Newbie Millennial

I would take advantage of some of the holiday sales, and get a solid foundation of tools for yourself. There are some great tool storage deals right now so you can get a beginner tool box, and try and cover all the basics. Keep in mind, the most useful tool in your toolbox is the one that you...

Gaps at bottom edges of garage doors- how to seal?

Maybe it's time to add baseboard to the garage. You can **** end the baseboard to the garage door with weather stripping to fill the space. Also, I believe the exterior weather stripping should go all the way to the concrete and should help with that gap closure as well.

    this might be handy

That's pretty rad. Great for service manuals, self drawn plans or blueprints, or even a mobile laptop stand for YouTube instructional videos while working on something. Also, can't beat free.

    Garage Door Insulation Suggestions

That looks awesome. The garage is bright white for now, so I think that reflective layer would add more light, and likely give me the insulation I need. Thanks!

    Garage Door Insulation Suggestions

It doesn't shock me whatsoever that it isn't installed or adjusted properly. On the first visit they discovered the main door which was ordered was the wrong size, so they only installed the small one and it's opener, but not the exterior weather stripping. The second trip brought the larger...

    Garage Door Insulation Suggestions

That was the first thing that I looked at. I know it will work as insulation, but I am worried about sound deadening as well. I like the idea of the laminate layer on the outside. I would like to paint the insulation to give it a little more color contrast, and that would make it a lot easier.

    Garage Door Insulation Suggestions

I have been waiting for new construction to be completed before I made my Garage Gallery Thread, but I need some suggestions for garage door insulation. The doors are totally bare with no insulation, and with the North Texas weather I know that isn't going to fly. Not to mention, they are...

I would just get some 1/4-1/2" trim stock to fill the gap. You can paint it white to match and you can just mitre the edges and finish nail it in place. Everything looks fantastic. Love the foundation that was laid for everything you are doing. It's going to totally pay off in the end.

    RAD Garage

Re: Rick's Audi Double I have been meaning to ask for a long time and I keep absentmindedly forgetting, but how are the free flow tiles on bare feet? I love the look and the functionality, and I would kick myself pretty hard if I pulled the trigger on this floor only to despise walking on it.

I thinks it's awesome because every one of us has struggled to wedge ourselves in that space to get under the dash like that. HA HA

My Shop: Where Passion Meets Livelihood (or tries to)

Those hexagons are soo rad. I am stealing that idea for a bookcase that I have to build for my office. Just looked absolutely incredible.

    The Bimmer Basement

Just set up a reel for the pressure washer hose, and get a quick disconnect for the spigot outside. Then you can make your pressure washer essentially stationary inside the garage, and you will just need to open the door, connect the quick connect and turn on the water.

    The Bimmer Basement

My planned setup is with a spigot inside the garage hooked up to a Y-valve. One end can go to a standard hose for normal tasks, with the other side of the valve going to my CR Spotless. I currently have a 2ft hose hooked to the input of the CR Spotless, and from there I will likely run another...
