    My 13' x 28' Mouse House Garage

Clean and simple. I dig it.

How to remove that Junkyard pen marker?

This stuff works wonders as well. It will remove most types of marker, tar, and other stuff without tarnishing the surface of what you are cleaning. You should be able to buy it in the can like this, since you don't live in CA where they banned it. HA HA.

New 24'x24' Bungalow Woodshop/Autoshop in California

Love all the planned out details. The really clean finishes can only come if you have laid the groundwork beforehand, and it really shows.

    A Peek Inside A NASCAR Team's Toolbox

Saw this awesome post this morning. Clearly it is a VERY thoroughly thought out storage solution for all their necessary tools. There is a ton in this post to admire and oogle, but I can't get over the custom wrench storage. It looks like they used metal drawer inserts, and then ran bolts up...

Liftmaster 8500 Install Alternatives - No Clearance

I had the extension setup on my previous garage door due to a lack of clearance, and it worked just as well as the standard jackshaft mount. Just make sure that everything is aligned really well, and you won't have any issues.

    OCD's 24x24...

My jealousy is strong for everything here. It just makes my own little OCD heart so happy to see things so well thought out beforehand.

    Spotless Rinse... That actually works...

I totally forgot to mention that. I bought mine from Costco online, but the resin is cheaper to buy directly from CR Spotless.

What to backfill with - blackland

Such a small world, I am here in Rockwall. We are building our home very shortly off of the 548 and the foundation is the single most expensive portion of the project. We are going with a combination of a pier and beam setup along with chemical injection to try and stabilize the soil. Moving...

    Spotless Rinse... That actually works...

I have a basic Karcher which I got from Amazon for less than $300. I know you can get by with something considerably less expensive however. One of the keys to a system like this is managing the flow rate. If you are using the system with a standard hose nozzle, it needs to be on a lower flow...

    Spotless Rinse... That actually works...

I have had my CR Spotless for probably 5-6 years now, and I wouldn't want to ever go without it. Using a pressure washer will really help you get the most out of it's lifespan. The lower GPM output of the pressure washer extends the life of the resin considerably. I found that the water I...

My Shop: Where Passion Meets Livelihood (or tries to)

Such a rad thread. Love the progression, and the furniture is beautiful. Those nesting shop tables are a fantastic idea. When I was still in Cali I spent the last 6 years doing commercial product photography. Your white background is great, but if you want it to look more real, simply keep...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

The Petersen is pretty fantastic. I can't wait for my next trip back to California to see the remodel. Here is a solid preview of the finished project. http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/12/petersen-auto-museum-reborn/

    44 Bikes Frame Shop

You should make a few of those "I Promise to Ride my Bicycle" signs. I would totally buy one of those. Love the photographs, love the attention to detail. Stuff like this makes my OCD heart happy.

    LED Landscape Lighting

Is there a limit to the length of runs you can have with any of these setups? We are starting construction soon and I am looking to have lights dispersed over 1.5 acres on various trees. Will I need multiple transformers or can I just use multiple runs with variously placed hubs?

I Finally get to build the Garage of my dreams

Just recently moved to Texas as well, so I am looking forward to going through this exact same process. Like the color choices for the walls as well. All the attention to detail that you put in now will pay off huge later on.

    Chad's NEXT Garage Makeover

Of all the stuff you have done, other than the flooring, that makes the best visual impact. I love how it doesn't block any of your lights now when the door is up. That is awesome.

Just moved into new house. Now time to make the garage nice!!

Looks like it has a ton of potential. Those high ceilings are fantastic. Looks like you could fit a full 2 post in there.

    Post Recession Shop Rehabilitation Project

That movable cabinet that is painted to match your walls is fantastic. I hadn't ever thought of doing something like that, but it makes my OCD heart just swoon with possibilities.

    Maximum57's Audi Manrage

If you have clearance issues with the jackshaft opener, they do make a model that has a gear setup that allows you to mount it slightly offset from the traditional mounting location. This isn't my picture, but the one I had in my last house had to be set up this way due to clearance issues...

    The Bimmer Basement

Love the transformation and the attention to detail on the little stuff. Hopefully you hit that spinner with some 2K wet sandpaper to get that scuff out. That thing looked awesome.
