Polyaspartic first weeks already performance concerns

I have tried soaking one of the marks in hot water with degreasing soap and then proceeded to scrub with a soft towel with no results. I then tried a bristle brush which did nothing either other than start to make the surrounding glossy areas start to dull slightly (hence the crappy abrasive...

Polyaspartic first weeks already performance concerns

I think that is crazy that the manufacturer would claim no hot tire pickup but leave the substance fully susceptible to a visual imprint from the tire. It might as well be pickup by how obvious it looks. The floor is going to quickly look terrible if the glossiness just goes away everywhere a...

Polyaspartic first weeks already performance concerns

That's just the glare of the overhead lighting. The bare concrete in the front/bottom of the photo is where the floor ends and meets the driveway.

Polyaspartic first weeks already performance concerns

So we had our new home's floor professionally prepped and coated with a polyaspartic coating about 2-3 weeks ago. Paid big bucks to "do it right the first time" as far as the garage floor was concerned. Ultimately the color didn't turn out like I expected (likely my own fault for assuming the...

Can a wall support 2 hanging tire racks on the same studs?

Thanks for the responses. It would be about 600lbs total between the two racks (not 600 per). I will give it a shot because this wall is relatively out of the way from the others. Would rather keep the good space for bigger and better things. The floor support idea is good but I want to keep...

Can a wall support 2 hanging tire racks on the same studs?

I'm curious...I've got small wall in my garage that is basically dead space and I'd like to mount my two tire racks on it. One right on top of the other. So there would be something like 4 or 6 studs with about 500 lbs hanging at least mid to higher up on them. The other side of the wall is just...

    Accel Junky's Dual Phase 3-Car Attached/Detached Build

Last night we got some of the bigger tools/pieces from storage and put all the cars in. Not so big of a garage now that there are 3 vehicles in it.

    Accel Junky's Dual Phase 3-Car Attached/Detached Build

Walls I was thinking a light or medium grey but now I'm wondering how that will look with the bluish grey floor... Thanks for the compliments on the cars!

    Accel Junky's Dual Phase 3-Car Attached/Detached Build

Definitely high gloss! I actually asked to make sure they grey was a function of black and not blue prior to the job but it ended up with a bluish tint. I was going more for a percentage of black kinda dark grey.

    Accel Junky's Dual Phase 3-Car Attached/Detached Build

Here's the final job on the polyaspartic floor. Pics taken without direct sunlight blasting on it. Still looks bluish but the finish is glossier and smoother so I like that.

The polyaspartic was dry about 10 hours before those last 2 pics. NSX pics coming soon. As for the water heater it is on the floor. At our last house it was elevated too. Our inspector is one of the best in the business and didn't say anything so my assumption is that somehow it is within code...

Not sure. Materials already purchased. Also I'm wondering if the floor will look smooth when done...it's a new slab after all...

    Accel Junky's Dual Phase 3-Car Attached/Detached Build

The garage floor guy started with the project to put down a polyaspartic (the slab was too oddly colored to stain like planned...or so he said). To be honest I'm deeply disappointed with how the color came out. He's got one coat left to do but I doubt that will change it. I picked a dark grey...
