    Jet Planer

The breaker size protects the wire in the building, not what is plugged into it.

    Rubber assembly lubricant?

Isopropyl alcohol from Walmart. It goes away quickly so use a lot and work fast. Best part is it evaporates completely over time so the rubber part stays in place.

Just finished my welding cart...what do you think?

Looks really great, and you avoided the temptation to over weld like I always seem to succumb to.

    Stihl BG75 blower carb diagram

The two yellow dots I drew are right next to the check valves.. those little half round flaps on that gasket. Good luck what ever you choose to do.

Buying question for the Snap On Users

What is the student program now, 50, 60 percent off list? There is a lot of stuff SO do really well. The dial torque wrenches, the 3/8 impact sockets, the gear puller sets. Items that are competitive main stream like a battery impact, look at the cost of other brands compared to SO. The...

    Anti-seize on exhaust manifold studs

I drill out any captive nuts, and use a titanium bolt and nut, with regular grey anti seize on it. The same nuts and bolts have gone through several changes of exhaust parts.

What is this? Copper Plated Hole thingy?

    aluminum vs. copper

Yes, but in 20 minutes the beer will be gone, and next day that smugness as well. Then one has to get more beer thus spending more money. So in the long run it is better and cheaper to use copper and have the smugness last forever.

Need some wiring help - really stuck.

Okay, the voltage at my dryer outlet when the dryer is not in use is 234 volts. Should I now be calling it 234 volts? If I call it 230 volts that is not accurate. When I plug the dryer in and run it, I measure a voltage of 228. Where does this end then? :willy_nil

Need some wiring help - really stuck.

Yes, but we all know perfectly well what he means. :willy_nil I know you are smart,:thumbup:but really. I see people posting this over and over again, and really, who cares. Correcting the spelling of a post would be more helpful and educational. Make a joke about a pet Marmoset...

    woodstove ?

IMO only a rocket style stove is worth making. The outer case is made from an old electric hot water heater. The pics and text here are the easiest to understand IMO. Lots of other people make drawings of the idea, but they are 2 d views and make no sense unless one knows what the inside...

    Refillable canned air

Suggest running an air line after a dedicated regulator (it might be just 1/4 id poly) from the compressor to your work area. Add a filter that uses a toilet paper roll element to filter the air. Will last forever and lower cost than the air can.
