    Need a wet-dry vac recommendation

My most used cordless power tool. It's not as powerful as a corded, but it's so convenient that I find myself sometimes cleaning things for fun. If you're into the Milwaukee platform, definitely consider it. However, it's power hungry. Probably pulls ~15 amps out of the batteries.

Sounds like hardboard is a great solution. I'll see what the local home depot has in stock.

Noob question about worn brushes (sawzall)

Hey guys, thanks for the advice. I took a closer look, and the wire is too weak to be able to stop the brushes from contacting. Here is what's happening. I go full power on the sawzall, then after about 30 seconds, the power cuts off. All that time, sparks are flying everywhere. The voltage...

Noob question about worn brushes (sawzall)

Nothing, The spring goes on top of the brush. I just place the spring back in the hole after I took the brush off so I don't lose it.

Noob question about worn brushes (sawzall)

I never replaced a brush before, so I'm pretty clueless right now. The brushes on my sawzall 2621 throws out all kind of sparks, then the sawzall itself just dies. I took it apart, and this is what I found. Are my brushes worn? Did Milwaukee designed it so that the brush wire prevents the...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

It's the blade inside the holder, not the hinge. Feels like the mechanism holds the blade like a pin inside a hole that's too big. I have an older husky knife that holds the blade with less slop.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Hey, stupid question, is the blade in the fastback utility knife suppose to be loose in there? I was expecting it to be tightly held.

Blucave Flashcell - Supercap Powered Screwdriver

Yay! Let us know how it goes! The M12 impact and the dewalt would work good, but it's too much tool for the job of taking off little screws around the house. Besides, I have both the M18 surge and M18 fuel that's pretty close in size to the M12 and that dewalt driver. I just want a cute little...

Blucave Flashcell - Supercap Powered Screwdriver

Just came across this on amazon for $23. I am very intrigued with the supercap power source. Suppose to "charge in 60 seconds with up to 100,000 cycles". Anyone got one? How many screw can it sink before dying? I know it smells of hookie consumer grade marketing, but I'm in the market for a...

Is my Milwaukee m18 9.0 Battery Dead?

I was able to re-cell a 1.5AH battery last month. There is some kind of memory in the BMS that counts number of days and number of charges. When I fully disconnect the BMS, it reset the counter back to zero. Maybe there is some more memory in the BMS that store fault codes. Last ditch effort...

50% off 3 or more Dewalt accessories @ Amazon

Darn, I was just about to hit checkout, but the deal is off. It might have been a bug that they're trying to fix. I did see that it was suppose to extend until Aug 31th, so 20%/30% may come back after they fix it.
