    How To Transport a Toolbox?

I moved my KRL-761 in the bed of my pickup. We (2 of us) pushed it up a set of ramps with ramparts on them and it came back off the same way. If I remember right we had the drawers out on the way up and it was complete coming off. Not much of a big deal but you did have to grunt a little.

Motorcycle Lift/service lift which one to get ?

I have had the previous style Kendon for 5-6 years. Its a good lift but definately has some shortcomings. If movability is your primary concern though its definately a lift worth considering. Portability was big for me and I just wish they had the pneumatic version when I bought mine.

Y Shaped Screw Hook Bit Needed

If you dont need to do a ton of them this might work for you. In the past I have taken a socket 5/16-3/8 and cut a channel out of it. It work pretty well for wing nuts and hanging hooks. Throw it on an adaptor and into a cordless drill or impact driver.

    The Mechanically Declined.....

Show up at my buddies house one day and his brother is there with the hood up and radiator out on a mid 80's chevy 3/4 ton. Ask him whats up and his response was that he thought the timing chain finally "went". He spends a day and half replacing it but says he didnt see anything wrong with it...

I appreciate the responses guys and as I said in the original post, I wasnt out to offend anyone. To comment on one post though, I have been "around here" for quite some time I just was slow to start posting. I also have been using my tools to make a living for more than 20 years so tools aren't...

    Why buy yard sale junk?

Guys, I realize i'm relatively new here but this question has been bugging me so I figured I'd ask. I see lots of pictures and posts about people all excited about their yard/estate/dead guy/ sale scores and all the stuff they got and how great it is. I look at the pics and am just amazed at...

Need a water separater/drier for my air line

Dust, I know you said you have no control over what "management" does but is it possible that they are not aware of the issues associated with poor maintenance of a compressed air system? These are both equipment related issues as well as safety issues. I posted the homeowner link below once...

Need a water separater/drier for my air line

Just out of curiosity, is the tank drained regularly? If theres that much water and the tank isnt drained I bet you have a bunch sitting in the bottom of the tank. Which makes for a very unhappy tank not to mention an unsafe one.. Chris

    Snap On box keying question

I got a KRL761 6-7 years ago and just picked up a KRL712A side locker to go with it last week(got a great deal, well I think so anyway). I would like to key the 712 to the 761. Can I order through snap on the correct cylinder for the 712 to match? Do I have to order both new and get matching key...

    Compressor location

I am new here but was reading the comment on compressors not exploding. While the compressor itself may just fail, a stuck safety valve and pressure switch or a tank mounted remotely where condensate can't be readily drained is pretty dangerous...
