Tool box help (yes, another one)

I've had really good luck using "Search Tempest" to find things. In fact its how I found the KR791 i just bought. It searches all craiglists within the distance you specify as well as ebay that way you dont have to go to each one and search.

Nice idea on the parts trays. Would be good just to salvage the magnets out of them. Never really thought of that before.

    It took 8 years...

That actually made me laugh. They had been stuck uncer the box "in case i ever needed two horribly beat up speakers" and over time got kicked to the back. I really should fish them out and pitch them.

    It took 8 years...

But I have finally completed my Snap on Box set. I bought all at 3 pieces at least second hand over the last 8 years. They were all in perfect condition condition when I bought them and I didnt pay any more than 50% of new for any piece. I wanted a nice box that would last me for a long time. I...

    Hanging out in the garage

When I saw this thread I thought cool, other garage dwellers. With tunes, tv and police scanner in there I always have something to keep the background busy. The motorcycle lift also can work as a quick nap spot. There's always something to do and I feel better that I got something done rather...

Looking for suggestion for garage privacy

I fell your pain. I have almost the same scenario as you do with location except my house is also elevated from the road and I live on a very busy street. It makes it very natural for people to look right in at the light at night. I never keep the door open at night and only during the day if...

    Blow dryer for my Harley

I'm on board with the leaf blower also. I use to use a gas powered one but every once in a while it would spit out some oily mess. I bought a blacker and decker full sized leaf blower off season for like $20. I only use it for drying off bikes and blowing off the garage floor so it stays clean...

How many volts at the outlet?

Sorry I should have specified. Where are the breaker(s) for this outlet in question? And is there one breaker or two to shut if totally off?

How many volts at the outlet?

+1 on that. Where are the breakers in your panel? Are they on top of each other, side by side , or located away from each other in the panel?

    Transporting Snap On krl722

When I bought my KRL761 it was in a basement and had to come up through a bulkhead. It took three guys to get it up with some planks and rope and the drawers removed. To put it in the back of my fullsize pickup we put a packing blanket down on the ground and stood it on end. We backed the truck...

    Tool box Insanity

When I bought my KRL761 I had been looking for some time and my employer was going to kick in a grand for 15 years of service to them. I had looked around the used magazines (before craigslist) and found one for $2400 and it was reported to be in perfect shape no defects. When i went to look at...
