    Proto Crowfoot thingy Set Use?

The ones in the OP's pic are 8 sided. What has 8 sided hydraulic hoses/pipes? Just curious, been working on equipment for years & dont recall running into any 8 sided hydro fittings.

    what size hole?

5/8" seems correct to me but I would measure the stem on the inner tube to make sure you are not drilling it way oversize. Also some farm tubes have "big bore" stems of around 3/4".

Are used tools loosing their value these days?

The average lifespan for a male in the USA is 79. You by definition are not old, hell you're not even middle-aged. You won't even reach full retirement age for social security until you are 70, and that is if they don't change it again.

Anyone actually set fire to something with sparks from the grinder?

It happens, I know of at least one forest fire set by a hand grinder sharpening a shovel for a groundbreaking. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-fire-alaska/spark-from-tool-ignites-big-wildfire-in-alaska-idUSN2323621220070624

I have bought a few kits from this eBay seller, he seems knowledgeable about the kits. This one is listed as a non quick release. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202549459316?epid=1354203275&hash=item2f28e37974:g:VgUAAOSwJ7RcJSNB

    Useful Dial Indicator Range

0 to 1" are a lot easier to set up. You set your indicator holder by hand with the indicator depressed about halfway & lock it down, then re-zero the dial, done. Very quick & easy. Takes about 15 seconds. Most jobs just don't need accuracy to the 4th digit.

    What size Ultrasonic Cleaner

I have a 15 liter & it has worked well for 4 barrel carb-sized objects. Without measuring it I would say it is about a 16" cube. My order history on Amazon says its a Tek Motion 15L however when I click on the product to "order again" it comes up as a Creworks 4 gallon.

2 post lift hydraulic oil change frequency

On heavy equipment, the interval is 3000 hours. I suspect the hydraulic oil in your lift will outlive us all.

From the pics it looks like a T936. The repair kit is a RKRT936, or whatever the model number is with RKR in front of it. The RKRT936 is $11.20 from the USA website.

gifted a non working 1/4" snap on ratchet

You can email their customer service & they will mail you a kit. Sometimes they are sticklers about if you are the original purchaser or not, so I always tell them I bought it from a truck a long time ago. You can also buy the kit from their website.

The Flex Head Ratchet Thread - Locking vs Not - Discussion

The best part about the roto ratchets is also often overlooked. If you adjust the Allen head cross-bolt they become as loose or stiff as needed, infinitely adjustable, tighten it enough & they just about become a locking head. Way ahead of their time for 50 years ago.

    What are these tools?

Believe it or not, those black pliers are also CV boot clamp pliers. I thought they were last night but couldn't be sure. The close-up confirms it for me. Lisle 30500.

    Portable Mechanic Set

Both of those case's are horrible. The drawers don't stay in very well & you will quickly be using a ratchet strap around the box to keep the drawers in.
