Does bacteria grow in the "Bypassed" side of a pipe?

So this wasn't specific to RVs. At my house I have a UV sterilizer but with all the add-ons, the sterilizer, the water softener, and the entire filter section all have bypass loops. All of those loops theoretically will grow bacteria and I was curious why that's not discussed in piping or if it...

Does bacteria grow in the "Bypassed" side of a pipe?

I'm getting ready to do some filter/plumbing upgrades on the RV and it made me think about bacteria growth in pipes that are not on the typical path. Specifically this spot right here...

Fire safety part 2 - when it happens

Personally I have a 2.5 gallon class A water extinguisher in my shop. Water is the best way to take away the "heat" element of the fire triangle which will put out a fire. The way I look at it is most of the things that will go on fire in my shop is a class a combustible. Even a class C fire...

3HP 3 Phase dust collector vs 2HP Single Phase

^^^^ This is what I'm looking for, thank you. I could technically cut a hole in my garage and eject the air outside but then I'd be losing all the conditioned air thats inside and would rather not do that. Also I've proven over the years that I'm not the best at waterproofing so I'd rather skip...

3HP 3 Phase dust collector vs 2HP Single Phase

I mean yeah he says that but it contradicts the entire best practices.... Not trying to start an argument but like the entire section on dust collection basically says you need to set it up like a commercial system that vents to the outside for it to be effective and safe. And wear a mask...

3HP 3 Phase dust collector vs 2HP Single Phase

I've read that website before, thank you. Unfortunately, my take away was that hobbyists shouldnt be woodworking in small shops as we can never create a good enough system that will keep us healthy. the TLDR is that everything in a woodshop can and will kill you.

3HP 3 Phase dust collector vs 2HP Single Phase

Yeah Im sick of tripping over the 4" hose and having to move it between each machine over and over again. Im looking to do some permanent fixing. I was actually looking at the single phase...

3HP 3 Phase dust collector vs 2HP Single Phase

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

I know it's hard for you to follow this thread because all you've been doing is attacking me the entire time. So I'll cut you some slack for claiming that you didn't know there wasnt a contract originally even though you commented on the fact that I received it after they destroyed my property...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

I forgot you were there the day they screamed and whined about how they arent making money, I should have read my contract as they only promised that they would give their best effort not actually fixt he problem (Nice hidden clause to get out of being responsible), and then stomped their feet...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

Lol yeah you both are trying to steal honest people's money by giving them subpar service and calling it "good enough". Then whining about it when getting called out.

Thats very interesting and I appreciate you sharing your experience. To clarify. You had 2 separate transactions for $50 on your credit card for a meal that you had at ABC restaurant. Did you sign a receipt? I imagine you did but regardless. That receipt should have had a specific transaction...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

Lol I'm done answering your questions until you answer mine... What is your business's name? I wanna read the google reviews to see if you have 2.5 star rating or a 2.7. So your goal was met. My goal was not met. Granted my goal had a higher standard to be successful it was still the agreed...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

No. The pictures you are looking at are only one perspective. The other side of the driveway plane (where the old driveway ended before they cut it) is lower. My house is essentially on a hill. The backyard slopes down the sideyard has that hump but is still lower then the house and the front...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

You had one end goal in mind though, which was to have a functioning air line. Your method of making that happen was substituted for a different less expensive option but atleast it was done. In my case, my goal was never met. They did not do any of the other options available to fix the...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

Too bad we can't take bets on this... I'd love to make money on your ignorance lol. Anyway. 2nd contractor came out a few minutes ago. "The original driveawy was fine. I have no idea why they decided to cut your driveway. Unfortunately, to fix this is going to require replacing the whole...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

Lol yes that is corrext. have you read the thread or just some pieces? There were two deliverables. This company essentially bid against others for a project to do two things. He won the job and only delivered one of the two things. You all seem to think that's fine and I should pay for...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

The following quote is where I'm headed. The contractor alluded to the same thing saying he'll be back in a year and see that I didn't do anything but again those thoughts are baseless with the only evidence being the opinion that I would be a bad person to take advantage of the situation. To...

Asphalt contractor created new drainage problem

I'll take a better photo later. That's not the case. He created a wall almost like a V where that low point is. Also the channel he created also does not drain. I took a broom to push the water down the channel but if I don't do that it will sit there, freeze, etc. The old issue would resolve...
