    Lee Valley - Cobra Pliers

These look similar to Knipex but at this price they might be rebranded Irwins. Can anyone determine the OEM for these? http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?cat=1,43456,43400&p=71492 Either way, Lee Valley stuff is top notch and at $22.50 for an 8" and a 10", I might try them out.

    Show Me Your Thermos

I came back to this thread hoping to find that you had rehabbed an old Bunn-O-Matic to go with your thermoses, designed and welded up a very custom table or cubby for it in your garage and then painted the whole thing green, of course. Jack, don't let us down, man!

Can anyone recommend a good staple gun?

Seconded. You can get your weight over the staple and they sink all the way instead of standing 1/16" proud. I thought the Powershot was a gimmick at first but it really has worked out better for me.

Concrete or asphalt for a Southern driveway?

I'll be making this decision soon. Our driveway is half concrete and half asphalt. The concrete is a 20'x20' pad in front of the garage. It's about 40 years old and is badly cracked. The asphalt is the sloped run up to the concrete pad. It's not in great shape either but it's not sealed...

    Round Point Shovels?

Yep, I got one of these, too. Can't say enough good things about it. It seems indestructible. A little heavier than a wood or fiberglass handled shovel, but not enough to matter.

Harbor Freight 13 drawer tool boxes $271.99

I'd trade two red, smooth finish, narrow, shallow drawers for one of the same deep narrow ones.

Got mine yesterday. Shirt is made in Haiti and imported into Mexico. Doesn't say where the screenprinting took place. Thanks, Ryan!

How deep should I make my cabinets?

A 1 gallon paint can is 7", so I'd say 14" for the cabinet.

    Ratcheting Screwdrivers,what do you have?

The Crawford overdrive is great. Too bad its discontinued. http://crawfordtools.com/magnetic_racheting_screwdrivers.html The 4-1 overdrive is almost as fast as a power driver.

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

My only problem with this is that I'm primarily a woodworker and now you're making me want to weld. :) Very nice garage, though. Great job. I'll echo the sentiments of a few others and say that I appreciate the way you've salvaged, adapted or created things to fit your needs.

    Anyone own any Seattle Tools?

I just saw this CL ad http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/tls/1283698832.html and tried to run down what brand that box really is. And I ended up back here. :) The http://www.seattletool.com/ redirects to the Canadian site now. I'd like to go have a look at their stuff before buying any of it...
