    Wilton C3 vise i got today. Still in the car; much too young and beautiful to carry it inside this late. Looking at the forum i did not see to c3's that had solid face jaws with screws from the outside. Of course missing the swivel base base, but i think they are still available? And yes...

    Your experience is almost exactly the same as mine... Because of this site i have not only bought my 1st vise A Rock Island 574, but just got my 2nd vise today! i cant believe how lucky i got, scoring a Wilton C3 for a steal of a deal. Pics will be posted as soon!

    Engine load leveler question?

    I use a load leveler on almost every engine removal and install. Just did a Subaru outback ej25 this weekend; nothing like achieving the perfect angle of dangle.

    That Reed is amazing. After browsing through this thread i got instantly hooked. Had to go out a get a nice vice to share with the community for my first post! 3-43 is stamped on the slide ( march 1943 i figure) and the Jaws have the same stamping numbers as the body 2297. hopefully a little...
