Well so far this unit has done a super job keeping up with the cold spells. garage is a constant 61 whenever i go out there. also humidity is way down, was 75%+ before install and now stays around 30% !!

here is what i did with mine in a similar situation Garage Roof/ Rafter Insulation... To Vent or Not to Vent ? i am very happy with it, PTAC has been maintaining a constant 61 deg which is where the eat is set for now. really nice to be a in 61F garage when it is 30F outside !!

get a Maintainer !! did this for my 1929 6v I did tons of research and talked to several manufacturers. after the homework I went with the Battery Tender Plus 6v. it is a VERY nice step maintainer. comes with quick connectors (1 set of Alligator Clips, other with Connectors for battery)...

I have a Flexzilla 3/8" air hose now, that i have been using for a few years and love it. super flexible and never an issue with it. Seems the Smartflex is a step down from Flexzilla, then you can drop to the Workforce PVC hoses.

works great and runs nicely, is pretty quiet little unit. granted it has not been HOT or COLD since i installed it, BUT it has maintained the humidity and temp. humidity was around 55% and dropped it to around 30-35% after a few days. figure it will balance out and settle in. see how it does...
