I had that issue when the lights were on the remotes wouldn’t work. Genie makes an LED bulb that is compatible with the opener and I have had no issues with them. I have an LED bulb in a fixture about a foot away from the opener without issue.

The new Husky oil less units are a little quieter than the older units. It will most likely be good enough unless you are turning your home garage into a retail repair shop.

I prefer the 1/4 drive for a cordless ratchet. I use it to save time to remove and install items. I have both and use the 1/4 drive the most and really only use the 3/8 when using a 3/8 drive socket to avoid an adapter.

I would replace the high use plugs that you use on a regular basis and leave the ones that you have items in that are more permanent.
