I do not know about other types of tubes, but even wires in PVC tubing or PTFE or any other will rust in time. So there is no 100% remedy to moisture.

Sorry to give the news, but the heat-shrink actually traps the moisture inside. So it will rust even more. We are not allowed to use it in aviation. Use a clean towel and spray on it some WD40. Do this once in a while and you`ll be rust free.

Just bought this from a flea market. A Kriegsmarine Gedore On the other side of it it is written : Standard Material Later I will upload some pictures with some really old Gedores (before 1960) one made for Auto Union and one with the really old Gedore handwritten logo.

I will use it as an engine or gearbox trolley as it is fitted with drain pans underneath. Can be multipurpose because of the additional rail for locking straps.

At the moment, I just got this delivered, waiting for the others. :D For a 600 EUR contraption I ain`t that impressed. Some weld splatter, nuts used as threaded holes. If the colour suits and you`re a Facom die-hard you might have an excuse.
