I like it tooMonte,
Nice vintage cantilever box. I like the wooden handle...I bet that's not offered by Gedore any longer?

It has "Constant Electronics" ?The Würth (= Fein WSB 25-230 X) is absolutely top notch, the best money can buy !![]()
Looks promising !Sneak peek:

Here it isextra for you !! One hour of scraping rust !!

for the re-riveting, methinks a disposable or brass washer might do the trick as long as we don't use aluminium rivets...I want to do the same...
To take it apart: I think I will grind off the rivets with an angle grinder. But the more difficult question...: how to rivet everything back together after disassembly and painting ?
should i post pics of mine too? came right off a Peugeot assembly plant floor...
It has "Constant Electronics" ?
a sneak previewlooks like your tube upload failed, there's only two minits and nineteen seeconds of videe-oh...![]()
mmmhhh ...but does the result look good if you "hand rivet" ?for the re-riveting, methinks a disposable or brass washer might do the trick as long as we don't use aluminium rivets...![]()
yes you shouldshould i post pics of mine too? came right off a Peugeot assembly plant floor...![]()
ahh ok ...I thought... but 2500 watt should be strong enoughNö.....and i do not miss it, cause the Würth beast is strong enough !![]()
tools for the DIY userLater Edit:
Any intel on Faust tools ?
My friend from Japan supplies form me tools. This time he bought this box with the tools on auction.Nice. Love that Toyo box.
Bought <s>from</s> on Rakuten?
Thank you very much for information."PX" is the series. "O.H. Industrial" is the brand.
According to their literature, the faces are hardened to HRC 44-50 on the blunt side and HRC 35-55 on the pein side.
Nice hammer!Nice. Have you used these yet? And would you mind sharing where you've found those?
aren't those the ones sold on eBay.de by
(had to use a "google translate" link 'cause for some reason eBay kept showing me an error message saying that those could not be displayed legally to french users... happens quite regurlarly now...) anyway, they don't ship to France or anywhere else except Deutschland und Österreich
too bad since they do have some nicely priced Gedore stuff, better than amazon.de(maybe not so good shipping though...).![]()
yes.....
..... if you search with ebay.de or only ebay.fr ?![]()
no, i do have some to cover my needs and a Bondhus metric inserts set on order too from amazon.com... but i wouldn't mind a couple sets of Festool long bits(17.49€/ea.):do you want a Rahsol bit set ?![]()
):
i like that view, looks sturdy and a bit minimalist regarding finishing...
)ever tried the Flex "Red Bär" ?
..... if I had a little to much bucks..........What about Elora? This seller do business international.neither one displays the page, looks like it's an ip/geographical filter.![]()

ok let me see what I can dono, i do have some to cover my needs and a Bondhus metric inserts set on order too from amazon.com... but i wouldn't mind a couple sets of Festool long bits(17.49€/ea.):
a set of Gedore blue punches(12.99€):
and a blue Felo, Gedore-branded, quick-releas bit-holder(only 9.99€!):
of course, only at their actual respective prices(or, better, if you can find better prices)!
if you find a cheap, even used, Wiha/Festool Centrotec handle i would be quite happy too...![]()
i like that view, looks sturdy and a bit minimalist regarding finishing...![]()
ok let me see what I can do²(at least it's not a 3/4" Dowidat rat or i would have been very tempted!)
Monte; on the air tools. Do you guys run personal air compressors or are you running air tools of a central air compressor? I understand that you rent workshop space. If personal air compressor, do you have pics you can share?
No experiences, but I think it is a tough and robust angle grinder without any gimmicks.
The (non european) Milwaukee AGVM 26-230 GEX/DMS is also a very interesting machine...... if I had a little to much bucks..........
![]()

ok let me see what I can do![]()
oh no! don't even think about doing anything about that one!!!ok let me see what I can do²![]()
![]()

)first superautobacs and his yellow japanese airgun and now you with compressors pics!!!not everybody has his own compressor . I think there are currently 4 compressors in use from the main people in the workshop.

)Milwaukee ? they don´t have a lot of dealers here.....and the price...![]()

) parts of their anatomy...

What is it? A bicycle wrench of some sort?and now, a non-Bahco swedish tool:![]()

and now, a non-Bahco swedish tool:
can't remember when or where i got it but, it's, for sure, a tool from the past millennium!
![]()
I think it could be from before 1963, where the Radius blow lamp factory, Sweden, closed...just a guess, but it looks like the special tool, you get with a Petromax lamp.
You can read more about the Radius factory here.http://medlem.spray.se/blowlamp/Manufacturers/Sweden/Radius/radius.htm

(...)
the wrench is still sold NOS by some: *clicky!*
and now, a little voice behind me just said that we *need* that lamp...![]()

(Added text to the picture:
Hansi: Zo, how long time did I zpend this time ?...
Gerd: Zhat was only 34 minutes...a new record!
Hansi: I will write it in my Petromax log-book, and celebrate with a Prinzen-rolle cracker...)

yeah when I first saw that tool I thought Festool/Protool !
....or Metabo....
The GSS 23 is NOT from Switzerland.... The GSS 230 are made in Switzerland
http://www.bosch-professional.com/de/de/schwingschleifer-101287-ocs-c/
The larger Metabo sanders are still made in Germany
or you could look out for a discontinued Kress sander made here: (about €130.-)
Mafell is made in DE too but cost more than Festo....
you also could check out Rupes from Italy or higher end sanders from Makita which are still made in Japan.... iirc the Hilti´s are from Europe too
the coo also has something to do with the price.....
Funny, that the wrench is still on sale!
Regarding the Petromax, what they don´t show on the picture is that your shirt is likely dripping from sweat after the work needed to get it burning.
First you´ll pump the pressure up, then pre-heat with ethanol, or use the "quickstarter" powered by the pressured kerosene (this will release all the pressure from the tank, so you must pump it up again). After some attempts, you´ll learn it, the hissing sound is really nice in a strange Greenland Patrol way, and it has the power of a 75 watt bulb. As it was intended to be used - emergency and military - it´s great, but it will never give that cozy light like on the pictures. There is no option of "dimming" - it´s full power or none, since the vaporizer needs the heat to keep the pressure up. But truely a fascinating thing...

ok, i'll let you do your best then!:
ony 2 ?? enough ? I´m surprised !oh no! don't even think about doing anything about that one!!!
(just received the answer from a local seller that has a cheap'n old Dowidat 3293 push-thru rat! two Dowidat 3/4" ratchet should be enough methinks...):
....the time will come...first superautobacs and his yellow japanese airgun and now you with compressors pics!!!
but since she said "no air now!", your devious scheme will fail horribly!
("for now"...)
nice one, should be great for cutting-up some firewood indoor in the winter...![]()
yeah krassI have a Milwaukee dealer in my area, but the price is crass of course !
The Milwaukee and the Würth SWS 230 Power/Fein WSB 25-230 X are probably the most expensive units on the market, but we know….you get what you pay for.![]()
niiiiiiiiiiiiice drivers !!!!!!!!!!! Especially the Belzer drivers !!!!!!i somehow forgot to post what got there lately...

...If the price is right......no, they're not for sale...![]()

nice tools !Arrivals this week; some Hazet trays and a Gedore tray for existing tools, and a few pliers to add to the collection. Had hoped Knipex circlip pliers may have fitted in the Gedore tray, but not really...
btw. lamp..... my "Feuerhand" lamp:and now, a little voice behind me just said that we *need* that lamp...![]()
another company from Denmark: www.compac.dkWhat are your recommendations for hydraulic jacks made in the old world? I am after a 1.5/2 tonne one, low entry would be useful but not imperative. The only things I can get locally are all Clarke/Sealey made in China jobbies.
I've seen AC Hydraulic, but can't seem to find a decent supplier in the UK.
Any other recommendations are received gratefully![]()
the only Makita tools from the US I have seen here is your sander and a older NIMH cordless drill......I bought a Makita BO5031 orbital sander and i was surprised when i saw that is made in USA. Is that common?
