I soaked mine in citric acid and the washed them off, then I hit them with a wire wheel on my bench grinder. They cleaned up nicely and then I sharpened them.

I bought a chain pull style and installed it on the face in the area between the lights. I had to remove a ton of plastic to make it fit. If anyone else does this the wiring harness will disconnect from the light strip, making it easier to solder in a switch

I would like to know who the genius was that built a "shop light" that hang from the ceiling with a short cord and no pull switch. It's a bright light, but disappointed in the design, had to buy a switch and void my warranty to make it usable.
