    Die grinder shank extension (1/4)?

Back a while ago i had a little 4" die grinder extension that allowed the use of standard short shank burrs for porting heads and manifolds. Something like this: Ive searched high and low here in Australia and everyone just shrugs and says NFI or suggests Dremel flexishaft type things. Found...

What do you normally cut with it? My use case would be mild and stainless sheet (and Alu, but that cuts by sneezing at it) up to 3mm.

I think you are the first person i have heard to call the cutoff awesome. What do you like about it? Ive been on the fence with one for a while, as it would be useful for cutting sheet steel for things, but not sure if i want another single purpose tool. Lots of reviews say its underpowered or...

Looks like it would work well for a gasket remover pad too.

Got a few things in the Boxing Day sales from a local supplier (socket and tap/die set and m12 light), plus unpacked the stuff i picked up while i was in the US last month:

Below 265 SQ/FT Garage takai - my little do it all work cave [AUS]

Yeah, its even better with the new garage. Kind of annoyed though that we forgot to swap the workbench around left to right, as it means the double hooks are on the wrong side now. At some point perhaps ill get around to swapping out the single side upright for a double, and then i can put some...

Below 265 SQ/FT Garage takai - my little do it all work cave [AUS]

Had a chance to keep unpacking the garage a week ago, decided to swap around the bandsaw and drill press, mainly to make access to power easier, and then able to keep the welding stuff together on the other side: Sorted out the area above the bins and tidied up the bikes Picked up a...

Had a reason to use the M12 oscillating multitool today, damn its so much better than my old corded Bosch unit. Worked an absolute treat.

Below 265 SQ/FT Garage takai - my little do it all work cave [AUS]

So moved house a couple of weeks ago, and snapped these photos half way through moving the racks, and before we started running out of time and just jammed everything in there. Its about a meter wider than the old garage i reckon Then i managed to start getting stuff setup and in place over...

    Improving a folding welding table

A while ago i picked up a cheap folding welding table like this: Works well for welding, but the weird a-frame type legs mean it often falls over annoyingly when its supposed to be folded up, or just does the spread leg thing and knocks other stuff over. Anyone have a reasonable design to...

Where did you pick up the high torque from? Also what are the 2 Gal vacuums like? Thinking of one to replace my drum shop vac as I’m not doing much woodwork anymore.

Anyone seeing online Black Friday deals on M18 FUEL compact impact wrenches and the rubber skins for the impact wrench and M12 stubby?

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I went from 2 in March, to 16 now. Mixture of M18 and M12. That said, my old Hitachi gear survived a LONG time, originally got it in 2010 and only replaced in 2018. Mainly because they changed the battery type (cassette to slide) and i couldnt get the tools i wanted in cassette anymore.

Swiss army knife style wiring pin removal tools?

I have a bunch of pin removal tools on a key ring type thing which is normally fine for wiring... until one of them disappears and then inevitably you cannot find the only one you need. Noticed on Project Binky that they have some like this: I reckon that would slow down losing them (and...
