    Welding table pics ?

I'm sure someone else has mounted the bender to a table... but when I couldn't find a single pic when I was looking to build mine. I've only got a two car "shop", so I did it for space reasons. Its AWESOME to avoid "assembling" the bender every time I want to use it. Moving it for big sticks is...

    Welding table pics ?

I'm still adding to/moderfyn' this one that I built this year. I thought i'd like the expanded metal... but as it turns out, I think it ***** out loud. I'd like to find a solid plate, or maybe some thick barstock to re-do the top with. I wanna add a powerstrip to the bottom as well... Overall...

Show off your sheet metal fab projects

This was my first effort with my HF bead roller... so some of the learning curve is evident... I think it came out cool though. ...I can't help but laugh though... all this work, and its still just a baja bug that I plan on beating to death...:lol_hitti

Nastyzen- Do you have any more info or build pics of that #66 race car? I know NOTHING about those cars, but that "finished" pic knocked the wind out of me. Easily the sexiest roadster i've ever seen... ...think they'd let me take the wife out on a date in it?

    Motorbreath53's Happy Place

...almost a year later... Those old school buggy pics are AWESOME. The "good ol' days" long before I existed....:bounce: I figured i'd post up an update as lack-luster as it might be. I spent most this year on the house... (the not fun part of the house). We are officially rewired, and have a...

Don't get me wrong...i'm proud of my effort on this one... but the engineering involved in those headers and such made my little baja bug blush... Thanks for the atta boys though guys. I can't WAIT to get this car in the dirt...

    residential garage door delima

I'd rather use the space on the walls for cabinets. The more I have hanging, the less **** will be on the floor. Carriage doors would be bitchin... but i'd need to see what the cost would be to make them auto-open.... (and not take up too much of the opening with the mechanism...

    residential garage door delima

Stuart in MN- the wife and I have discussed that as well. But I think a "hi-lift" mounted roll up would still give me some more usable space inside the garage. As it is now, I loose almost two feet of floor space due to the springs and linkage from the slab door. i'm also curious as to which...

    residential garage door delima

Funny... I had JUST finished reading about "bi-fold" doors before I checked back in here to find your suggestion Sureshot. Those overhead ones look AWESOME... but I don't know that they'd be my best choice. For the purpose of resale of the home, I don't want anything thats too different from the...

    residential garage door delima

I can't imagine that this hasn't been covered... but I can't find what i'm looking for after 30min of searching... so, sorry if i'm adding unnecessary threads... I have a wood slab style garage door on my residential two car garage. The wife wants a roll up to add some curb apeal to the house...

Nastyzen- Thanks. I am proud of how its turning out... but I feel humbled by almost EVERY build on race-dezert.com. I think its normal for a guy to constantly say, "...well, my NEXT one will be..." PCO6-ahhh... there's those painted up boobies again... missed those... The car will be loosely...

I'm almost ashamed to post after the REAL fabricators... but, here's my modest offering. Its my first tube chassis. And its as straight as my crooked garage floor, tape measure and HF digital angle finders allow it to be.

    My Hovel of Solitude

I would take that lunch box to work tommorow if I could. SO much potential. I'd love to have that storage space up top. It could make a KILLER "parts room"

    Out in the Garage

...I just came inside from my garage... elbows still dirty... and I still smell metal dust from my grinder... just enjoyed the video for the first time while consuming a Stone IPA.... PERFECT. Great job on the video.
