    What nap roller for epoxy?

Again, this depends on the exact way you intend to apply the product. If you are pouring it out on the floor and backrolling you don't need a very thick nap. So, the Wooster 1/4" or 3/16" Mohair naps seem to give the best finish.

    Concrete resurfacer

I'm not sure about this particular product... but... I'm going to guess that it can be installed > 1/4" thick if it's acrylic modified. There are TONS of good products out there for cementious resurfacing.

What are my cheapest possibilites here?

Hi David, Our AcryliSeal 3401 or 3501 will give you the 'wet look' at a value price. Have you tried using solvent to scrub the sap up? Many of the 'tar' removers for details cars are nothing but a blend of organic solvents like VM&P Naptha, Aromatic 100, etc... For concrete you might try...

    What nap roller for epoxy?

This depends on how you are installing the floor. Many companies recommend the 1/4" Wooster Mohair naps when the coating is being poured onto the floor and then backrolled. The Mohair naps are smoother and you get less nap hairs in your finish. The longer the nap the more likely you are to get...

lol... My mom said I'd never amount to anything! Thanks for the kind words. Great write-up! Your floor looks great! I was curious about the comparison to Epoxy-Coat. I saw another thread on here that actually showed Wolverine Coatings having a lower cost. Was the cost comparison a direct...

    My Wolverine Coating Flooring

I'm not sure I'm understanding your point. While there are not materials that are going to be earthquake proof... there are MANY manufacturers of joint sealing products that can last for decades. I guess the question is what are you calling: Which materials are you referring to that won't...

    Removing Oil Stains

Which degreasers have you tried? Any industrial ones yet? I would first try industrial degreasers... then... you can soak that oil stain with solvent and towels and get it up that way. Last, you need to make sure that the manufacturer of the epoxy you are going to use says that they can...

    Concrete resurfacer

I haven't tried it but... I would expect it to be OK. I've done work for a company that makes a similar product with dry acrylic in it... just like this has. The acrylic dissolves in the water and you get about the same results as if you added an liquid acrylic admixture. But, this would all be...

    "X-Game Coating Challenge" August 2008

I think it's great if you want to show off your work. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I really think it's a cool idea to have a contest. But, I don't think the contest should be built around a participant's project. I know that if I were going to be a participant (which I'm not because I'm a...

    "X-Game Coating Challenge" August 2008

I would vote that they should all be 12" square... because that is an easy size... But, I really think the important thing is that all the samples be the same size regardless of what that size is... So, I suggest that everyone should submit the exact same size to make it fair for all...

    My Wolverine Coating Flooring

My perspective is different. Although epoxies are known to have the best adhesion to many things (in general), there are plenty of things that unmodified epoxies won't stick to. (Most DIY epoxies would fall into the unmodified category) The first thing would be siliconized caulks that someone...

Hey Premierguy... As I was reading this I found that I could interpret it several ways. Would you mind explaining this in a little more detail? I don't want to misunderstand and you've got my curiousity going... (Uhh Ohh... lol) :headscrat Eric
