Worked on fabricating a part to help hold my dishwasher in place because the counter top installers screwed up, and helped a buddy get set up to use my MillerMatic 210 to weld up some legs on a work table.
He's used to a little 110 flux core welder and giggled like crazy when we fired it up...
Hung some more relocated cabinets, put up some bins, cleaned. Also tack-welded and spray painted a pencil holder out of some scraps.

Did some cleaning in the shop (just a bit) and started hanging the upper cabinets that we ripped out of the kitchen we're renovating.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?
Started cleaning my vise, a 1960s Craftsman Columbian 3 1/2" with several layers of old paint and grime on it. Going to eventually restore it.
Anyone know of a hardware supplier that sells screws/nuts/bolts/everything by bulk/lb? I'm tired of buying stuff in 8-10pc packages from the box stores...
Need to post more pics, but today I passed my final inspection. Can finally bury the power feed line, finish tape/mudding the drywall, paint, and start loading up the shop!
Ah that would explain this then:
Nice to learn something new. Looks like it has two options - stepped down as it is now (it has a metal-cutting blade on it) or non-stepped-down for wood.
Re: Parts? Buccwell 14" Bandsaw KL-W569S
Well, the cutting platform does say "metal-wood cutting" - so I'm not sure much clearer they could be!
Re: Parts? Buccwell 14" Bandsaw KL-W569S
Thanks guys,
I'll pick up a couple of tires in the near future. I think the belts might be ok for a while.
Parts? Buccwell 14" Bandsaw KL-W569S
A while back I was given this Buccwell bandsaw:
The label says it's a KL-W569S; it's a 1HP motor.
I can't find much about it on Google, and it needs some parts - a couple of belts and drive wheel tires, and I can't figure out where to find parts...
Electricians came out yesterday and ran the main feed, did outlets, plugs, and switches, and all lighting. Shop is now powered up! :booyah:
Hanging more drywall today, and mounted the now-functioning garage door opener switch.
Finish insulating the walls in the new shop, started in on the ceiling. Hung a little more drywall. Replaced a workbench-top made from 2x6's with a section of solid core door.
Unloaded my Craigslist deal of the day: 24' of 2' x 4' x 8' shelving, bought off a printing shop that was downsizing for $150.
Also got 12 of these USPS mail sorting bins (the old hard plastic ones) off the same guy for $10.
