That code was specific to your account. Ebay rarely has sitewide coupons anymore.

Be careful with that website. Mostly correct info, but it is waaaaay out of date. That very battery comparison you just mentioned is missing the 3 Chervon batteries and at least 3 chargers. They've been out for several years now.

All of the lithium batteries have some pretty complex circuitry inside of them. However, the condition you are noticing does not appear on all C3 lithium packs. The base packs made by Ryobi (PP2010 and PP2025) do not do this. However, the XCP packs (PP2020, PP2030, and 5166.2), and the Chervon...

Here's a new one for $54.50: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Craftsman-C3-19-2-Large-XCP-Lithium-Ion-Battery-Pack-Model-2030/173849699123?hash=item287a3fe333:g:mR4AAOSwKAJbP7zq You can also find the slim packs in XCP as well. XCP is just a much better C3 battery pack. Better cells, better case...

You'd be better served buying an XCP pack. Yes, the 4.0ah will cost around $60, but it's worth it. Aftermarkets just aren't worth messing with. And they're usually toast in a couple years anyways. Ni-Cads are pure garbage not worth sinking a single dime into. The XCP packs are noticeably more...

What products are surprised HF doesn't offer?

I just went to HF last week for the first time in a loooong time specifically for this as well, and could not find it either. I'll add the 1/2" flexhead extendable ratchet. They for some reason stopped selling it. I use one everyday and really like it. The build quality admittedly ain't good...

    Another Columbian Vise thread

When our company was moving a few years ago, I took the option to purchase one of our metal work benches from my employer before the auction came in and sold off everything remaining in the building. I paid the 5 extra dollars to get a bench that had a vise on it. The vise is a Columbian 504 4"...

The C3 1/2" impact was rated 300 lbs Ni-Cad or the regular lithiums. It is rated 325 ft/lbs with XCP packs. The Kobalt 24v is rated in "nut-busting" torque. Whatever the hell it really means, it is always a much higher rating the the maximum working torque rating. That being said, I've used...

Yeah. Forget the Ni-Cad batteries and chargers. They're junk. That being said though, the leaf blower alone goes for about $100 on eBay. The 7.25" saw is also rare and goes for close to that. If you could pick it up for low 100s, that would be a good deal.

Open it up, cut the wires off of the lock-on switch, and wire them directly together bypassing the switch. It can then go over 40 psi with the trigger lock on.

Speaking of C3 inflators. If anyone hated that automatic shutoff at some psi (I can't remember exactly what psi) when the trigger lock was on, it is dead simple to open it up and wire around the switch on that lock. It will then inflate to whatever psi you have set on the LCD screen. Just be...

C3 inflators are also still available from Summit Racing for $68. Shipping is only free on orders over $99. I have one already, but bought one for my dad. I assumed it would just be an item Summit has had on the shelf for years as most people probably don't shop Summit Racing first for...

If buying into a tool line for the first time, it makes no sense to buy C3. At the same time, if one already has C3, it makes no sense to switch. There is a large selection of tools, they're good tools, and although most are out of production, only a few are hard to find on the internet...

As I mentioned l, they have a 2018 manufacture date in the serial number. I have a feeling they won’t last long. Sears was briefly selling C3 jigsaws again last year (there may be some languishing on shelves yet). I bought one and it had a manufacture date just one month before my purchase. But...

The M12 Fuel 3/8 stubby I ordered showed up today. So FWIW to anyone who cares, I did some testing with all the electric impact wrenches I currently own. 3 3/8" impacts and one 1/2" impact. They are the Craftsman C3 3/8" Impact Wrench (ID2000) on a 18 nominal volt, 2.0Ah battery. The Craftsman...

Yeah, it was the gen 1 Fuel. Worthless tool. I just ordered the new one online over the weekend. I'm planning on selling the Matco 16v kit I have. It's a good tool, and I'd like the new brushless one with 250ft/lbs. It is probably a lot better than the gen 2 fuel, but we no longer have a Matco...

Believe it or not, there is a "new" C3 tool at Sears. I use "new" in quotations, because it is a 3/8" impact wrench, which was once available years ago as item 315.ID2000. It is listed on the Sears website with an addition date of Oct 10 2018, and it shows my local Sears has one in stock, so it...
