You still might be able to find a jigsaw. I was able to order one last fall. It had a manufacture date of summer 2017 sometime. I was shocked they were still being built that late. I'm guessing TTI was probably contractually obligated to make some more after the lawsuit was settled. It is no...

Yeah, obviously if SBD does awesomely revive the C3 line, they will be making the tools themselves, not TTI/Ryobi. And not all the tools are TTI made. About 15% or so are made by Chervon. These are the tools that don't have a Ryobi equivalent, such as the one-handed saw, the auto-hammer, and the...

C3 is finished as far as Sears is concerned. The last new tool was released in the fall of 2014, and they are just selling a few basic tools like drills now, and I'm not even sure how much longer that will be. Will SBD sell C3 compatible tools? I really would love to know and few things would...

Yeah, that's an insane deal. One-handed saws generally go for close to $200. My dad just sold a new one he had for $240 just last week. They are really good saws. They have just as much power as the larger ones. It'd be interesting to pit one in a battle against a Milwaukee Hackzall.

By far the most rare of all C3 tools. Maybe a couple a year pop up on ebay. I've seen sellers ask that much, but personally never seen them get it. I remember one clown wanted like $500 or something a couple years ago. The last one on ebay didn't get bid up over $150. That was back in November.

Sears.com hot deals and clearance thread

Hmmm, I bought a 6.5" C3 saw online a few days ago taking advantage to the $50 back in points when you spend $75 deal. It showed I was taking advantage of the offer during checkout, but none of the points showed up this week. Not even the 1% you get with normal purchases. I think I'm done with...

35704 / DD2100 kit is the same drill as DD2101. I have no idea why they started confusing things with the DD numbers in later years. The 565 in/lb is a typo. The correct number is 465in/lb, although in some advertising, Craftsman listed it as 515 in/lb if used with an XCP battery.
