If I didn't already have 6 sets of SAE wrenches and 2 metric sets, I would buy a brand new set of Williams Supercombos off EBay or a discount retailer. They're made here (of course) and represent the best value I've seen on the market. I have the rebranded CAT set (paid a lot more for those).

The occasional swap meet or yard sale can provide some good hammers at very little cost. I have an old Vaughan ballpeen that I got for two bucks and a Vaughan claw hammer that I found in a car I was scrapping out (free).

I have both Matco and C-man ratcheting wrenches w/out the reverse. They have served me well....if I really need the offset I just grab a regular wrench.

I recently picked this out of an abandoned storage unit for five bucks. The part number is SPP-536. Unfortunately, it's missing almost all of the small metal hooks for the keys. Should I get in touch with SO about the hooks or just go to the hardware store? This item is discontinued.

Man, that vise is identical to the one I was trying to ID on here a couple weeks back. Mine just doesn't have "Wilton" cast in, only "MADE IN USA" on the opposite side. And I see that yours still has an intact swivel base on it....nice score.

I recently acquired a set of CAT combo wrenches that are rebranded Williams. There is a huge markup. I had to fill in a missing 15/16 from the Cat dealer that I used to work for and paid $52 for it (would have been $63 w/out the discount). The whole 11 piece Williams set can be had new on Ebay...
