    The Tool Roll

Got a couple of Craftsman (Asian made) rolls for my old Mac C series wrenches and my Mac 6 point combos...don't fit very well, so I think I'll have some custom made later on.

Screwdrivers! Snap-On Instinct or Witte MaxxPro Plus (Matco) ??

I bought the green Matco Witte drivers in 2004 when they were on promotion. They work great, but like some other guys said, I hate to get them dirty. I just ended up using my random C-Man and other drivers to avoid this.

    4 way lug nut wrench

I work at a farm store here in KS, and we sell about the entire line of Ken Tool tire changing products....made here and I've never heard anything bad about them. I work in the tire shop a this same store and that's what we use when we have to do things "the old fashioned way".

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Here's my Wilton 645 that I picked up at a junkyard a couple years ago. It's the model that had the Wilton sticker on it instead of the name cast in. I scrapped the broken swivel base, cleaned and lubed the guts, and have worked it ever since.

Have you ever met a toolbag you liked...

I have an old Bucket Boss I got for next to nothing on a stout 5 gal bucket that held chain at the store where I work (free). I have taken it on the road quite a bit and done well. I also have an older Klein canvas/leather bag from eBay for my bigger wrenches....really well made.

    armstrong wrench set

Armstrong products are far superior to HF...and I would recommend shopping around on Ebay, Tooltopia, or other internet sources for a better deal than from Sears.

    Snap on/ JH williams??

I was at a wholesaler the other day in Wichita and ran across some Taiwan Williams products...they do appear very similar to Blue Point; legit as far as the Asian stuff goes I guess. The USA Williams is excellent quality at bargain prices. I have a set of CAT branded SuperCombos and they are...

    New tire machine at work

Here's the machine I used last summer at the local farm store, and the one I will use again this summer. There's also a Coats 1250 balancer; both are a couple years old. Other than having the arm for pressing down on the sidewall (nice for low pros), the machine is pretty basic. Some turf tires...

    I Love My Neighbors

The amount of items getting thrown away that could have been fixed easily is staggering. Getting this stuff for free and then bringing it back to 100% is satisfying.

How do you organize your impact sockets?

Mine are mostly in the stamped steel or blow molded cases they came in...but I might switch to the upright pegs one day....

I've got an aux cable hooked up to the back of the crappy old Aiwa stereo (got it for free) in my shed, so I mostly play my ipod. rock and country....occasionally blues and folk

    No plastic here ........

These old drills kick ***. I got an old Wizard 1/2" unit for free and gave it to my buddy (already had a Milwaukee). He put a new cord on it and it's been great ever since.

Is this a good Wilton Vise

I've got that vise on my bench, sans swivel base. It's a "newer" 645 with the Wilton sticker instead of the name cast in. Picked it up at a local junkyard for $15.00 and it has been serving reliably ever since.
